electerm is an open-sourced terminal/ssh/sftp/telnet/serialport/RDP/VNC/Spice/ftp client. Prior to 3.11.11, electerm constructs operating system commands in src/app/lib/fs.js by interpolating untrusted file paths into the rmrf(), mv(), and cp() functions. A malicious SSH or SFTP server can provide a filename containing quote characters and shell metacharacters, and a victim can cause that filename to reach the affected operation during remote-to-local transfer, conflict renaming, copying, moving, or removal. The generated `rm -rf`, mv, `cp -r`, PowerShell Remove-Item, Move-Item, or Copy-Item command can then interpret the filename as shell syntax. This allows arbitrary command execution with the electerm desktop user's privileges on POSIX and Windows systems, enabling data exfiltration, file modification, malware installation, or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.11.

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.9.0 until 4.10.4 and 4.14.6, PUT /security/users/{user_id} in api/api/controllers/security_controller.py passes request.get("user") instead of request.context['token_info']['sub'] as current_user. remove_nones_to_dict() removes the resulting None value, so the reserved-account protection in framework/wazuh/security.py cannot verify who is making the request. An authenticated user with the users_admin role can overwrite the password of protected administrator accounts with user IDs at or below 99, including the wazuh superuser, and gain full administrative control. This issue is fixed in versions 4.10.4 and 4.14.6.

When muxing input with more streams than the muxer's fixed-size stack buffer accommodates, the buffer is overflowed. A crafted input with an excessive number of streams triggers the overflow during MPEG-PS muxing.

FFmpeg before commit 1cdeb3c contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the VC-2/Dirac RTP packetizer (libavformat/rtpenc_vc2hq.c) that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by supplying a crafted Dirac data unit. The packetizer copies an input-derived data unit or fragment size into a fixed-size buffer without an upper bound check, causing a heap buffer overflow when the crafted input is packetized for RTP output.

A flaw was found in Ceph RGW's SigV4 signature verification handler. When processing S3 requests, RGW verifies only the headers explicitly listed in the X-Amz-SignedHeaders field but does not reject requests that carry additional unsigned x-amz-* headers. This diverges from the AWS S3 specification, which requires all x-amz-* headers to be signed. As a result, anyone holding a presigned PUT URL can attach arbitrary unsigned x-amz-* headers that RGW will honor, effectively escalating their privileges beyond what the original URL signer authorized. This can lead to unauthorized access to and modification of S3 objects.

A flaw was found in Ceph RGW's STS (Security Token Service) session token implementation. The STS tokens use the same unauthenticated AES-128-CBC encryption as CephX, which lacks message authentication and uses a hardcoded initialization vector. Because there is no integrity protection on the tokens, an attacker who holds any valid unprivileged STS token can perform a CBC bit-flip attack to modify the token contents and escalate to full RGW admin privileges. This requires only that STS is enabled (rgw_s3_auth_use_sts = true) and that the attacker has a single valid STS token. Successful exploitation grants complete control over the RGW service, including reading, writing, and deleting all objects and buckets.

A flaw was found in GLib. The D-Bus client-side implementation of the DBUS_COOKIE_SHA1 SASL authentication mechanism does not validate the cookie_context parameter received from the server. A malicious D-Bus server can supply a cookie_context containing path traversal sequences, causing the client to read an arbitrary file and exfiltrate sensitive data by verifying guessed file contents against a generated hash.

A denial-of-service and resource exhaustion vulnerability exists within the `GDBus` component of GLib. The `gdbusauth` authentication mechanism fails to enforce proper length limitations on data lines read from a client. An unauthenticated local or remote attacker can exploit this lack of input validation by sending excessively long streams of data, causing the application to consume massive amounts of system memory and CPU, potentially leading to a crash or system hang.

ISPConfig contains an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the Remote API. The primary_id parameter passed to delete and update API methods is concatenated directly into SQL WHERE clauses without integer casting or parameterized query binding. The built-in SQL injection scanner does not block quote-free boolean payloads and does not reject requests in its default configuration. A remote API user holding any single low-privilege function permission can inject arbitrary SQL to delete or modify records across all tenants in the control panel database and extract arbitrary data via blind boolean inference, including password hashes and client records.

A crafted filename containing quote characters and expression fragments can break out of the quoted context during mark/unmark operations, allowing arbitrary Vimscript execution. This can be leveraged to run shell commands with the privileges of the user running Vim.
