CVE-2026-64045 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: tcp - use cached peer pointer in ovpn_tcp_close() ovpn_tcp_close() loads the ovpn_socket via rcu_dereference_sk_user_data() under rcu_read_lock(), takes a reference on sock->peer, caches the peer pointer in a local, and drops the read lock. It then passes sock->peer (rather than the cached local) to ovpn_peer_del(), re-dereferencing the ovpn_socket after the RCU read section has ended. Unlike ovpn_tcp_sendmsg(), which uses the same "load under RCU, use after unlock" pattern but is protected by lock_sock() held across the function, ovpn_tcp_close() runs without the socket lock: inet_release() invokes sk_prot->close() without taking lock_sock first. ovpn_socket_release() can therefore complete its kref_put -> detach -> synchronize_rcu -> kfree(sock) sequence concurrently, in the window after ovpn_tcp_close() drops rcu_read_lock() but before it dereferences sock->peer. The synchronize_rcu() in ovpn_socket_release() protects readers that use the dereferenced pointer inside the RCU read section, not those that escape the pointer to a local and use it afterwards. A reproducer follows the pattern of commit 94560267d6c4 ("ovpn: tcp - don't deref NULL sk_socket member after tcp_close()"): trigger a peer removal (keepalive expiration or netlink OVPN_CMD_DEL_PEER) at the same moment userspace closes the TCP fd. That commit fixed the detach-side of the same race window; this one fixes the close-side at a different victim. Tighten the entry block to read sock->peer exactly once into the cached peer local, and route all subsequent uses (the hold check, the ovpn_peer_del() call, and the prot->close() invocation) through that local. sock->peer is only ever written once in ovpn_socket_new() under lock_sock(), before rcu_assign_sk_user_data() publishes the ovpn_socket, and is never reassigned afterwards - but the previous multi-read pattern made that invariant implicit rather than explicit. The same multi-read shape exists in ovpn_tcp_recvmsg(), ovpn_tcp_sendmsg(), ovpn_tcp_data_ready() and ovpn_tcp_write_space(); those will be cleaned up via a dedicated helper in a follow-up net-next series.
CVE-2026-64046 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: prevent chain-after-chain in plain text SG Sashiko points out that if end = 0 (start != 0) the current code will create a chain link to content type right after the wrap link: This would create a chain where the wrap link points directly to another chain link. The scatterlist API sg_next iterator does not recursively resolve consecutive chain links. meaning this is illegal input to crypto. The wrapping link is unnecessary if end = 0. end is the entry after the last one used so end = 0 means there's nothing pushed after the wrap: end start i v v v [ ]...[ ][ d ][ d ][ d ][ d ][rsv for wrap] Skip the wrapping in this case. TLS 1.3 can use the "wrapping slot" for it's chaining if end = 0. This avoids the chain-after-chain. Move the wrap chaining before marking END and chaining off content type, that feels like more logical ordering to me, but should not matter from functional perspective.
CVE-2026-64047 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix off-by-one in sg_chain entry count for wrapped sk_msg ring When an sk_msg scatterlist ring wraps (sg.end < sg.start), tls_push_record() chains the tail portion of the ring to the head using sg_chain(). An extra entry in the sg array is reserved for this: struct sk_msg_sg { [...] /* The extra two elements: * 1) used for chaining the front and sections when the list becomes * partitioned (e.g. end < start). The crypto APIs require the * chaining; * 2) to chain tailer SG entries after the message. */ struct scatterlist data[MAX_MSG_FRAGS + 2]; The current code uses MAX_SKB_FRAGS + 1 as the ring size: sg_chain(&msg_pl->sg.data[msg_pl->sg.start], MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_pl->sg.start + 1, msg_pl->sg.data); This places the chain pointer at sg_chain(data[start], (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_start + 1) .. = &data[start] + (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_start + 1) - 1 = data[start + (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - start + 1) - 1] = data[MAX_SKB_FRAGS] instead of the true last entry. This is likely due to a "race" of the commit under Fixes landing close to commit 031097d9e079 ("bpf: sk_msg, zap ingress queue on psock down") Convert to ARRAY_SIZE and drop the data[start] / - start (as suggested by Sabrina).
CVE-2026-64048 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: reject CHID-0 ACCEPT that matches an empty ism_dev slot On the SMC-D client, slot 0 of ini->ism_dev[]/ini->ism_chid[] is reserved for an SMC-Dv1 device. smc_find_ism_v2_device_clnt() populates V2 entries starting at index 1, so when no V1 device is selected slot 0 is left in its kzalloc()'ed state with ism_dev[0] == NULL and ism_chid[0] == 0. smc_v2_determine_accepted_chid() then matches the peer's CHID against the array starting from index 0 using the CHID alone. A malicious peer replying to a SMC-Dv2-only proposal with d1.chid == 0 matches the empty slot, ini->ism_selected becomes 0, and the subsequent ism_dev[0]->lgr_lock dereference in smc_conn_create() faults at offsetof(struct smcd_dev, lgr_lock) == 0x68: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in _raw_spin_lock_bh+0x79/0xe0 Write of size 4 at addr 0000000000000068 by task exploit/144 Call Trace: _raw_spin_lock_bh smc_conn_create (net/smc/smc_core.c:1997) __smc_connect (net/smc/af_smc.c:1447) smc_connect (net/smc/af_smc.c:1720) __sys_connect __x64_sys_connect do_syscall_64 Require ism_dev[i] to be non-NULL before accepting a CHID match.
CVE-2026-64049 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/adreno: fix userspace-triggered crash on a2xx-a4xx Before a5xx Adreno driver will not try fetching UBWC params (because those generations didn't support UBWC anyway), however it's still possible to query UBWC-related params from the userspace, triggering possible NULL pointer dereference. Check for UBWC config in adreno_get_param() and return sane defaults if there is none. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/717778/
CVE-2026-64050 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: don't mix devm and drmm functions Mixing devm and drmm functions will result in a use-after-free on msm driver teardown if userspace keeps a reference on the drm device: The WB connector data will be destroyed because of the use of devm_kzalloc()), while the usersoace still can try interacting with the WB connector (which uses drmm_ functions). Change dpu_writeback_init() to use drmm_. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/722656/
CVE-2026-64051 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Add overflow check to remap_pfn_range during mmap The call to remap_pfn_range in qaic_gem_object_mmap is susceptible to (re)mapping beyond the VMA if the BO is too large. This can cause use after free issues when munmap() unmaps only the VMA region and not the additional mappings. To prevent this, check the remaining size of the VMA before remapping and truncate the remapped length if sg->length is too large. [jhugo: fix braces from checkpatch --strict]
CVE-2026-64052 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: bio-integrity: Fix null-ptr-deref in bio_integrity_map_user() pin_user_pages_fast() can partially succeed and return the number of pages that were actually pinned. However, the bio_integrity_map_user() does not handle this partial pinning. This leads to a general protection fault since bvec_from_pages() dereferences an unpinned page address, which is 0. To fix this, add a check to verify that all requested memory is pinned. If partial pinning occurs, unpin the memory and return -EFAULT. CVE-2026-64053 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: don't overwrite bip_vcnt in bio_integrity_copy_user() bio_integrity_add_page() already sets bip_vcnt to 1 for the bounce segment. Overwriting it with nr_vecs breaks bip_vcnt <= bip_max_vcnt on WRITE (bip_max_vcnt is 1), so the gap-merge checks in block/blk.h read past the bip_vec[] flex array. On READ the read is in bounds but lands on a saved user bvec instead of the bounce. The line was added for split propagation, but bio_integrity_clone() doesn't copy bip_vcnt and BIP_CLONE_FLAGS excludes BIP_COPY_USER.

CVE-2026-84372 2026-09-02 9.8 Critical
Predis is a flexible and feature-complete Redis and Valkey client for PHP. From version 3.0.0-RC1 until version 3.3.0, pipeline handling on aggregate cluster and replication connections reparses an already serialized RESP buffer in AbstractAggregateConnection::write() by splitting it with explode("\r\n") instead of honoring RESP length prefixes. Attacker-controlled keys or values containing CRLF sequences can therefore be interpreted by Command::deserializeCommand() as additional commands. On cluster connections, ClusterStrategy::getFakeKey() can route injected keyless commands using the literal fake key value "key", permitting operations such as shard-wide cache deletion, targeted data modification, data reads, or node disruption. On replication connections, malformed reparsing can throw an uncaught exception and repeatedly terminate affected requests. Only pipeline() reaches this vulnerable path; transaction() and MULTI are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.
CVE-2026-81928 2026-09-02 7.5 High
Net::DNS versions before 1.57 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via unbounded recursion in sig_data when re-encoding a message with a misplaced TSIG record. sig_data signs a message by re-encoding it, and removes TSIG records only from the additional section. A TSIG decoded into the answer or authority section survives that step and is signed again, so encoding re-enters sig_data with no termination condition. Decoding does not reject such a message: a TSIG that is not the last record on the wire raises "misplaced or corrupt TSIG", but the error is caught, reported as a warning, and the record is left in the packet. RFC 8945 section 5.2 requires the message to be dropped. The recursion is reached only when the decoded TSIG carries an empty MAC, since a MAC recovered from the wire short-circuits the signing step. It is reached only from code that re-encodes a message it decoded, such as a forwarder or a proxy. A decoded message that is never re-encoded is unaffected. Message direction does not matter: a query reaches the same path as a response. Each cycle re-encodes the whole message, so fewer than 100 bytes on the wire exhaust available memory and terminate the process.
CVE-2026-81205 1 Drupal 1 Ldap / Active Directory Integration 2026-09-02 5.3 Medium

The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2026-59822 2 Berriai, Litellm 2 Litellm, Litellm 2026-09-02 8.2 High
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.84.0, LiteLLM's MCP Streamable HTTP endpoint allowed an unauthenticated attacker to use a fabricated Authorization header to trigger an OAuth2 passthrough fallback path that replaced failed LiteLLM key validation with an empty UserAPIKeyAuth() object, allowing requests to reach MCP tooling without a valid LiteLLM key. This issue is fixed in version 1.84.0.
