In the fallthrough path, it first attempted to restore the pin configuration for LED outputs and then returned only the status of that restore operation, discarding the original timeout error. As a result, callers could mistakenly treat the data buffer as valid even though the EEPROM read had actually timed out with no data or partial data. To fix this, handle errors in restoring the LED pin configuration separately. If the restore succeeds, return any prior EEPROM timeout error correctly to the caller.

CVE-2025-40102 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Prevent access to vCPU events before init Another day, another syzkaller bug. KVM erroneously allows userspace to pend vCPU events for a vCPU that hasn't been initialized yet, leading to KVM interpreting a bunch of uninitialized garbage for routing / injecting the exception. In one case the injection code and the hyp disagree on whether the vCPU has a 32bit EL1 and put the vCPU into an illegal mode for AArch64, tripping the BUG() in exception_target_el() during the next injection: kernel BUG at arch/arm64/kvm/inject_fault.c:40! CVE-2025-40100 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not assert we found block group item when creating free space tree Currently, when building a free space tree at populate_free_space_tree(), if we are not using the block group tree feature, we always expect to find block group items (either extent items or a block group item with key type BTRFS_BLOCK_GROUP_ITEM_KEY) when we search the extent tree with btrfs_search_slot_for_read(), so we assert that we found an item. However this expectation is wrong since we can have a new block group created in the current transaction which is still empty and for which we still have not added the block group's item to the extent tree, in which case we do not have any items in the extent tree associated to the block group. The insertion of a new block group's block group item in the extent tree happens at btrfs_create_pending_block_groups() when it calls the helper insert_block_group_item(). This typically is done when a transaction handle is released, committed or when running delayed refs (either as part of a transaction commit or when serving tickets for space reservation if we are low on free space). So remove the assertion at populate_free_space_tree() even when the block group tree feature is not enabled and update the comment to mention this case. Syzbot reported this with the following stack trace: BTRFS info (device loop3 state M): rebuilding free space tree assertion failed: ret == 0 :: 0, in fs/btrfs/free-space-tree.c:1115 ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at fs/btrfs/free-space-tree.c:1115! CVE-2025-61667 2 Datadoghq, Linux 2 Agent, Linux 2026-04-15 7.3 High
The Datadog Agent collects events and metrics from hosts and sends them to Datadog. A vulnerability within the Datadog Linux Host Agent versions 7.65.0 through 7.70.2 exists due to insufficient permissions being set on the `opt/datadog-agent/python-scripts/__pycache__` directory during installation. Code in this directory is only run by the Agent during Agent install/upgrades. This could allow an attacker with local access to modify files in this directory, which would then subsequently be run when the Agent is upgraded, resulting in local privilege escalation. This issue requires local access to the host and a valid low privilege account to be vulnerable. Note that this vulnerability only impacts the Linux Host Agent. Other variations of the Agent including the container, kubernetes, windows host and other agents are not impacted. Version 7.71.0 contains a patch for the issue.
CVE-2025-40192 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "ipmi: fix msg stack when IPMI is disconnected" This reverts commit c608966f3f9c2dca596967501d00753282b395fc. This patch has a subtle bug that can cause the IPMI driver to go into an infinite loop if the BMC misbehaves in a certain way. Apparently certain BMCs do misbehave this way because several reports have come in recently about this.
CVE-2025-40199 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: page_pool: Fix PP_MAGIC_MASK to avoid crashing on some 32-bit arches Helge reported that the introduction of PP_MAGIC_MASK let to crashes on boot on his 32-bit parisc machine. The cause of this is the mask is set too wide, so the page_pool_page_is_pp() incurs false positives which crashes the machine. Just disabling the check in page_pool_is_pp() will lead to the page_pool code itself malfunctioning; so instead of doing this, this patch changes the define for PP_DMA_INDEX_BITS to avoid mistaking arbitrary kernel pointers for page_pool-tagged pages. The fix relies on the kernel pointers that alias with the pp_magic field always being above PAGE_OFFSET. With this assumption, we can use the lowest bit of the value of PAGE_OFFSET as the upper bound of the PP_DMA_INDEX_MASK, which should avoid the false positives. Because we cannot rely on PAGE_OFFSET always being a compile-time constant, nor on it always being >0, we fall back to disabling the dma_index storage when there are not enough bits available. This leaves us in the situation we were in before the patch in the Fixes tag, but only on a subset of architecture configurations. This seems to be the best we can do until the transition to page types in complete for page_pool pages. v2: - Make sure there's at least 8 bits available and that the PAGE_OFFSET bit calculation doesn't wrap
CVE-2022-50786 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A

This value comes from the user via sysfs.
CVE-2025-40038 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Skip fastpath emulation on VM-Exit if next RIP isn't valid Skip the WRMSR and HLT fastpaths in SVM's VM-Exit handler if the next RIP isn't valid, e.g. because KVM is running with nrips=false. SVM must decode and emulate to skip the instruction if the CPU doesn't provide the next RIP, and getting the instruction bytes to decode requires reading guest memory. CVE-2025-40145 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/pwrctrl: Fix double cleanup on devm_add_action_or_reset() failure When devm_add_action_or_reset() fails, it calls the passed cleanup function. Hence the caller must not repeat that cleanup. Replace the "goto err_regulator_free" by the actual freeing, as there will never be a need again for a second user of this label.
CVE-2022-50843 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm clone: Fix UAF in clone_dtr() Dm_clone also has the same UAF problem when dm_resume() and dm_destroy() are concurrent. Therefore, cancelling timer again in clone_dtr().
CVE-2022-50887 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: core: fix unbalanced of node refcount in regulator_dev_lookup() I got the the following report: OF: ERROR: memory leak, expected refcount 1 instead of 2, of_node_get()/of_node_put() unbalanced - destroy cset entry: attach overlay node /i2c/pmic@62/regulators/exten In of_get_regulator(), the node is returned from of_parse_phandle() with refcount incremented, after using it, of_node_put() need be called.
CVE-2023-54307 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptp_qoriq: fix memory leak in probe() Smatch complains that: drivers/ptp/ptp_qoriq.c ptp_qoriq_probe() warn: 'base' from ioremap() not released. Fix this by revising the parameter from 'ptp_qoriq->base' to 'base'. This is only a bug if ptp_qoriq_init() returns on the first -ENODEV error path. For other error paths ptp_qoriq->base and base are the same. And this change makes the code more readable.
CVE-2025-68325 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_cake: Fix incorrect qlen reduction in cake_drop In cake_drop(), qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog() is used to update the qlen and backlog of the qdisc hierarchy. Its caller, cake_enqueue(), assumes that the parent qdisc will enqueue the current packet. However, this assumption breaks when cake_enqueue() returns NET_XMIT_CN: the parent qdisc stops enqueuing current packet, leaving the tree qlen/backlog accounting inconsistent. This mismatch can lead to a NULL dereference (e.g., when the parent Qdisc is qfq_qdisc). This patch computes the qlen/backlog delta in a more robust way by observing the difference before and after the series of cake_drop() calls, and then compensates the qdisc tree accounting if cake_enqueue() returns NET_XMIT_CN. To ensure correct compensation when ACK thinning is enabled, a new variable is introduced to keep qlen unchanged.
CVE-2025-40125 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: check kobject state_in_sysfs before deleting in blk_mq_unregister_hctx In __blk_mq_update_nr_hw_queues() the return value of blk_mq_sysfs_register_hctxs() is not checked. If sysfs creation for hctx fails, later changing the number of hw_queues or removing disk will trigger the following warning: kernfs: can not remove 'nr_tags', no directory WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 637 at fs/kernfs/dir.c:1707 kernfs_remove_by_name_ns+0x13f/0x160 Call Trace: remove_files.isra.1+0x38/0xb0 sysfs_remove_group+0x4d/0x100 sysfs_remove_groups+0x31/0x60 __kobject_del+0x23/0xf0 kobject_del+0x17/0x40 blk_mq_unregister_hctx+0x5d/0x80 blk_mq_sysfs_unregister_hctxs+0x94/0xd0 blk_mq_update_nr_hw_queues+0x124/0x760 nullb_update_nr_hw_queues+0x71/0xf0 [null_blk] nullb_device_submit_queues_store+0x92/0x120 [null_blk] kobjct_del() was called unconditionally even if sysfs creation failed.
