| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cifs: Fix xid leak in cifs_copy_file_range() If the file is used by swap, before return -EOPNOTSUPP, should free the xid, otherwise, the xid will be leaked. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40191 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix kfd process ref leaking when userptr unmapping kfd_lookup_process_by_pid hold the kfd process reference to ensure it doesn't get destroyed while sending the segfault event to user space. Calling kfd_lookup_process_by_pid as function parameter leaks the kfd process refcount and miss the NULL pointer check if app process is already destroyed. | ||||

| CVE-2025-40193 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xtensa: simdisk: add input size check in proc_write_simdisk A malicious user could pass an arbitrarily bad value to memdup_user_nul(), potentially causing kernel crash. This follows the same pattern as commit ee76746387f6 ("netdevsim: prevent bad user input in nsim_dev_health_break_write()") | ||||
| CVE-2023-54057 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Add a length limitation for the ivrs_acpihid command-line parameter The 'acpiid' buffer in the parse_ivrs_acpihid function may overflow, because the string specifier in the format string sscanf() has no width limitation. Found by InfoTeCS on behalf of Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Check the helper function is valid in get_helper_proto kernel test robot reported verifier bug [1] where the helper func pointer could be NULL due to disabled config option. As Alexei suggested we could check on that in get_helper_proto directly. Marking tail_call helper func with BPF_PTR_POISON, because it is unused by design. | CVE-2025-40083 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_qfq: Fix null-deref in agg_dequeue To prevent a potential crash in agg_dequeue (net/sched/sch_qfq.c) when cl->qdisc->ops->peek(cl->qdisc) returns NULL, we check the return value before using it, similar to the existing approach in sch_hfsc.c. To avoid code duplication, the following changes are made: 1. Changed qdisc_warn_nonwc(include/net/pkt_sched.h) into a static inline function. 2. Moved qdisc_peek_len from net/sched/sch_hfsc.c to include/net/pkt_sched.h so that sch_qfq can reuse it. 3. Applied qdisc_peek_len in agg_dequeue to avoid crashing. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54088 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: hold queue_lock when removing blkg->q_node When blkg is removed from q->blkg_list from blkg_free_workfn(), queue_lock has to be held, otherwise, all kinds of bugs(list corruption, hard lockup, ..) can be triggered from blkg_destroy_all(). | ||||
| CVE-2025-40110 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Fix a null-ptr access in the cursor snooper Check that the resource which is converted to a surface exists before trying to use the cursor snooper on it. vmw_cmd_res_check allows explicit invalid (SVGA3D_INVALID_ID) identifiers because some svga commands accept SVGA3D_INVALID_ID to mean "no surface", unfortunately functions that accept the actual surfaces as objects might (and in case of the cursor snooper, do not) be able to handle null objects. Make sure that we validate not only the identifier (via the vmw_cmd_res_check) but also check that the actual resource exists before trying to do something with it. Fixes unchecked null-ptr reference in the snooping code. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40084 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: transport_ipc: validate payload size before reading handle handle_response() dereferences the payload as a 4-byte handle without verifying that the declared payload size is at least 4 bytes. A malformed or truncated message from ksmbd.mountd can lead to a 4-byte read past the declared payload size. Validate the size before dereferencing. This is a minimal fix to guard the initial handle read. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50785 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsi: occ: Prevent use after free Use get_device and put_device in the open and close functions to make sure the device doesn't get freed while a file descriptor is open. Also, lock around the freeing of the device buffer and check the buffer before using it in the submit function. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50645 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper() As the comment of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot() says, it returns a PCI device with refcount incremented, so it doesn't need to call an extra pci_dev_get() in pci_get_dev_wrapper(), and the PCI device needs to be put in the error path. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40188 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pwm: berlin: Fix wrong register in suspend/resume The 'enable' register should be BERLIN_PWM_EN rather than BERLIN_PWM_ENABLE, otherwise, the driver accesses wrong address, there will be cpu exception then kernel panic during suspend/resume. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50641 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HSI: omap_ssi: Fix refcount leak in ssi_probe When returning or breaking early from a for_each_available_child_of_node() loop, we need to explicitly call of_node_put() on the child node to possibly release the node. | ||||
| CVE-2023-53833 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: Fix NULL ptr deref by checking new_crtc_state intel_atomic_get_new_crtc_state can return NULL, unless crtc state wasn't obtained previously with intel_atomic_get_crtc_state, so we must check it for NULLness here, just as in many other places, where we can't guarantee that intel_atomic_get_crtc_state was called. We are currently getting NULL ptr deref because of that, so this fix was confirmed to help. (cherry picked from commit 1d5b09f8daf859247a1ea65b0d732a24d88980d8) | ||||
| CVE-2025-40145 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/pwrctrl: Fix double cleanup on devm_add_action_or_reset() failure When devm_add_action_or_reset() fails, it calls the passed cleanup function. Hence the caller must not repeat that cleanup. Replace the "goto err_regulator_free" by the actual freeing, as there will never be a need again for a second user of this label. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50768 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: smartpqi: Correct device removal for multi-actuator devices Correct device count for multi-actuator drives which can cause kernel panics. | ||||
