CVE-2026-13505 1 Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 1 Bc-fja 2026-08-08 N/A
In Bouncy Castle for Java FIPS (BC-FJA) before bc-fips 1.0.2.7 (1.0.X series), 2.0.2 (2.0.X series) and 2.1.3 (2.1.X series), sensitive key material held by the AES and DESede engines, the SP 800-90A DRBGs, SymmetricSecretKey and the PBKD and scrypt parameter classes was zeroised on garbage collection by overriding Object.finalize. Finalization runs at an unspecified time and in an unspecified order and is serviced by a single finalizer thread, so where objects carrying a finalizer are allocated faster than that thread retires them the pending-finalization queue grows without bound: disposal falls arbitrarily far behind, which can contribute to an OutOfMemoryError under load, and the key material those objects hold stays resident in the heap for as long as they are queued, defeating the purpose of the zeroisation. The behaviour was not a problem on Java 8 or Java 11; it is later JVMs, on which finalization has been deprecated and progressively de-emphasised, where it becomes one. Disposal of these classes now runs from a java.lang.ref.Cleaner registered in the multi-release jdk1.9 overlay, so on Java 9 and later it no longer depends on the finalizer being scheduled. Bouncy Castle for Java (bcprov) and Bouncy Castle for Java LTS are not affected, as neither implements the finalizer-based zeroisation scheme.
CVE-2026-56818 2026-08-08 6.5 Medium
Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, the RedisArrayAggregator Redis codec clears retained partial aggregate state when the maxNestedArrayDepth limit is exceeded, but it does not clear the same state when the sibling maxElements limit is exceeded. A peer can start a valid RESP array, send a bulk string child, then send a nested array header longer than the configured maxElements. Netty throws a decoder exception in decodeRedisArrayHeader, but the existing partial aggregate remains retained in the handler. If the application leaves the channel alive after the exception, later messages are still consumed into the pre-error aggregate, allowing an unauthenticated peer to keep attacker-controlled aggregate state alive across a security-limit exception and pin retained pooled buffers. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final.
CVE-2026-49343 1 Klever-io 1 Klever-go 2026-08-07 5.9 Medium
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. In versions prior to 1.7.18, the account-data trie syncers are vulnerable to a resource-exhaustion flaw that leaks bounded throttler slots on error paths. In syncDataTrie() (in both userAccountsSyncer.go and kappAccountsSyncer.go), StartProcessing() reserves a slot from the NumGoRoutinesThrottler, but the corresponding EndProcessing() is only called on the success path and on the duplicate-root early return. As a result, any error from trie.NewTrie(), trie.NewTrieSyncer(), or trieSyncer.StartSyncing() (including the network-dependent timeout path) permanently consumes one slot for the lifetime of the throttler. An attacker who can repeatedly cause trie-node sync failures or timeouts during bootstrap can exhaust the bounded throttler, after which further account-data trie syncs stop making progress and SyncAccounts() returns a timeout. Because epoch bootstrap in syncUserAccountsState() and syncKappAccountsState() aborts on any such error, this causes bootstrap to fail, a core availability issue affecting fresh, restarting, or resyncing nodes and validators. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18.
CVE-2025-63235 2026-08-07 7.5 High
In sol commit 373d848 (2024-12-12), the broker does not fully release resources when handling malformed or duplicate CONNECT packets. When clients send invalid CONNECT packets - either due to repeated attempts or failed authentication - the server may silently drop the connection or send a CONNACK but fail to close the session or deallocate internal resources. This behavior allows an attacker to create numerous half-open connections that consume memory and file descriptors indefinitely, potentially triggering the Linux OOM killer and causing a denial of service.
CVE-2026-20124 1 Cisco 1 Ios Xe Software 2026-08-07 7.7 High
A vulnerability in the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) subsystem of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper error handling when parsing SNMP requests. This vulnerability affects all versions of SNMP — Versions 1, 2c, and 3. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed SNMP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly. The attacker must have the SNMPv1 or v2c read-only or read-write community string or valid SNMPv3 user credentials on the affected device.
CVE-2026-15713 2 Libsoup, Redhat 2 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-05 5.9 Medium
A vulnerability was found in libsoup's HTTP/2 protocol implementation. The library fails to correctly release memory context blocks under specific stream termination conditions, such as when an HTTP/2 connection encounters window exhaustion or explicit stream resets. A remote, unauthenticated attacker acting as a malicious network peer can trick the connection engine into allocating stream states that are subsequently leaked during cleanup. Over a sustained period, this flaw allows the remote attacker to consume the system's heap allocations incrementally, triggering a denial of service (DoS) through an ultimate Out-of-Memory (OOM) application crash.
CVE-2026-61387 1 Eclipse 1 Eclipse Milo 2026-08-05 N/A
In Eclipse Milo versions 1.0.0 through 1.1.4, monitored-item quota accounting is not exception-safe: if item creation fails with an unchecked error, the server-global reservation is not restored. Deeply nested PubSub ExtensionObjects in a `CreateMonitoredItems` event filter can trigger a `StackOverflowError` during decoding, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to exhaust a finite global monitored-item quota and prevent all clients from creating new monitored items until restart. Existing monitored items and other server functions remain unaffected.
CVE-2026-64282 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Don't leak PFN when kvm_translate_vncr() races MMU notifier In the case that kvm_translate_vncr() races with an MMU notifier the early return does not release a reference on the faulted in PFN. Add the necessary call to kvm_release_faultin_page() for the unused PFN.
CVE-2026-64381 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: Fix next buffer leak in receive_encrypted_standard() receive_encrypted_standard() allocates next_buffer before checking whether the number of compound PDUs already reached MAX_COMPOUND. If the limit check fails, the function returns immediately and the newly allocated next_buffer is not assigned to server->smallbuf/server->bigbuf, making it leaked. Move the MAX_COMPOUND check before allocating next_buffer.
CVE-2026-64494 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: gp2ap002: fix runtime PM leak on read error gp2ap002_read_raw() calls pm_runtime_get_sync() before reading the lux value, but if gp2ap002_get_lux() fails, it returns directly. This skips the pm_runtime_put_autosuspend() call at the "out" label, permanently leaking a runtime PM reference and preventing the device from autosuspending. Replace the direct return with a "goto out" to ensure the reference is properly dropped on the error path.
CVE-2024-46855 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_socket: fix sk refcount leaks We must put 'sk' reference before returning.
CVE-2026-64302 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mm: Fix freeing of PMD-sized vmemmap pages Commit bf9e4e30f353 ("x86/mm: use pagetable_free()"), switched from freeing non-boot page tables through __free_pages() to pagetable_free(). However, the function is also called to free vmemmap pages. Given that vmemmap pages are not page tables, already the page_ptdesc(page) is wrong. But worse, pagetable_free() calls: __free_pages(page, compound_order(page)); Since vmemmap pages are not compound pages (see vmemmap_alloc_block()) -- except for HVO, which doesn't apply here -- only first page of a PMD-sized vmemmap page is freed, leaking the other ones. Fix it by properly decoupling pagetable and vmemmap freeing. free_pagetable() no longer has to mess with SECTION_INFO, as only the vmemmap is marked like that in register_page_bootmem_memmap(). The indentation in remove_pmd_table() is messed up. Fix that while touching it. Bootmem info handling will soon be fixed up. For now, handle it similar to free_pagetable(), just avoiding the ifdef. CVE-2026-53364 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: Fix memory leak in hci_le_big_terminate() hci_le_big_terminate() allocates iso_list_data via kzalloc_obj but returns 0 without freeing it when neither pa_sync_term nor big_sync_term flags are set after evaluating the PA and BIG sync connection state. This early-return path was introduced when hci_le_big_terminate() was refactored to take struct hci_conn instead of raw u8 parameters, adding PA/BIG flag evaluation logic. The existing kfree() on hci_cmd_sync_queue failure does not cover this path.
CVE-2026-12353 1 Redhat 3 Certificate System, Dogtag Certificate System, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-02 5.3 Medium
An unauthenticated attacker could trigger an Out of Memory condition to crash the Java process for RHCS by repeatedly sending HTTP requests to the TLS endpoint. Depending on how the RHCS server is configured, a manual intervention to restart it may prove necessary.
CVE-2026-64607 1 Apache 1 Httpcomponents Client 2026-08-02 5.3 Medium
HttpClient based on the classic i/o model fails to correctly release the underlying connection back to the connection manager if it encounters an invalid or unsupported `Content-Encoding` header value in the response message. Please note this defect does not affect HttpClient based on the async i/o model. This issue affects Apache HttpComponents Client: from 5.0-alpha1 through 5.6.2.
CVE-2026-64356 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix memory leak in xfs_dqinode_metadir_create() If xfs_metadir_create() fails in xfs_dqinode_metadir_create(), the current code returns directly, leaking the allocated update and transaction state. If the subsequent commit fails, the caller-owned inode reference is left behind. Fix this memory leak by routing the create failure path through xfs_metadir_cancel(). For both create and commit failures, finish and release any inode returned to the caller, mirroring the unwind pattern in xfs_metadir_mkdir(). The bug was first flagged by an experimental analysis tool we are developing for kernel memory-management bugs while analyzing v6.13-rc1. The tool is still under development and is not yet publicly available. Manual inspection confirms that the bug is still present in v7.1.1. An x86_64 allyesconfig build showed no new warnings. Runtime validation used kprobe fault injection during `mount -o uquota` on a metadir XFS image. Injecting xfs_metadir_create() reproduced the old active-update path that left mount stuck later in mount setup; after this change, the same injection reported cancel_hits=1 and irele_hits=1. Injecting xfs_metadir_commit() exercised the old inode-reference leak path; after this change, it reported irele_hits=1.
CVE-2026-64426 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/nop: fix file reference leak with IOSQE_FIXED_FILE NOP file-acquisition support choses between a fixed (registered) file and a normal fget()'d file based on its own IORING_NOP_FIXED_FILE flag in sqe->nop_flags. However, a request's REQ_F_FIXED_FILE is set independently from the generic IOSQE_FIXED_FILE sqe flag during request init, before the issue handler runs. If a NOP is submitted with IOSQE_FIXED_FILE set (so REQ_F_FIXED_FILE is set) but without IORING_NOP_FIXED_FILE, io_nop() takes the normal path and grabs a real reference via io_file_get_normal(). On completion, io_put_file() only drops the reference when REQ_F_FIXED_FILE is clear, so the fget()'d file is never released and leaks: BUG: memory leak unreferenced object 0xffff88800f42c240 (size 176): kmem_cache_alloc_noprof+0x358/0x440 alloc_empty_file+0x57/0x180 path_openat+0x44/0x1e50 do_file_open+0x121/0x200 do_sys_openat2+0xa7/0x150 __x64_sys_openat+0x82/0xf0 Decide between fixed and normal file acquisition from REQ_F_FIXED_FILE, the same way io_assign_file() does for every other opcode, and fold IORING_NOP_FIXED_FILE into REQ_F_FIXED_FILE at prep time.
CVE-2026-36590 1 Emqx 1 Nanomq 2026-08-01 7.5 High
An issue in EMQ NanoMQ v.0.24.9 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the nni_qos_db_set function in broker_tcp.c component
CVE-2026-64262 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-01 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse-uring: end fuse_req on io-uring cancel task work When io_uring delivers task work with tw.cancel set (PF_EXITING, PF_KTHREAD fallback, or percpu_ref_is_dying on the ring context), fuse_uring_send_in_task() takes the cancel branch, assigns -ECANCELED, and falls through to fuse_uring_send(). That path only flips the entry to FRRS_USERSPACE and completes the io_uring cmd; it never discharges the ring entry's owning reference to the fuse_req that fuse_uring_add_req_to_ring_ent() handed it at dispatch time. fuse_uring_send_in_task() tw.cancel == true err = -ECANCELED fuse_uring_send(ent, cmd, err, issue_flags) ent->state = FRRS_USERSPACE list_move(&ent->list, &queue->ent_in_userspace) ent->cmd = NULL io_uring_cmd_done(-ECANCELED) /* ent->fuse_req still set, req still hashed */ The fuse_req stays linked on fpq->processing[hash] and fuse_request_end() is never invoked. The originating syscall thread blocks in D-state in request_wait_answer() until fuse_abort_conn() runs, which can be the entire connection lifetime. For FR_BACKGROUND requests fc->num_background is never decremented either, so repeated cancels inflate the counter until max_background is hit and all later background ops stall. tw.cancel does not imply a connection abort (e.g. a single io_uring worker thread exits while the fuse connection stays up), so this cannot be left for fuse_abort_conn() to clean up. Ending the req but still routing the entry through fuse_uring_send() is not enough: that leaves a req-less entry on ent_in_userspace, and ent_list_request_expired() dereferences ent->fuse_req unconditionally on the head of that list, which would then NULL-deref. Fix the cancel branch to release the entry directly. Remove it from the queue, complete the io_uring cmd, end the fuse_req, free the entry, and drop its queue_refs (waking the teardown waiter if it was the last).
CVE-2026-64328 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_fs: Fix DMA fence leak In ffs_dmabuf_transfer(), a ffs_dma_fence object is kmalloc'd, with the underlying dma_fence later initialized by dma_fence_init(), which sets its kref counter to 1. Then, dma_resv_add_fence() gets a second reference, and a pointer to the ffs_dma_fence is passed as the usb_request's "context" field. The dma-resv mechanism will manage the second reference, but the first reference is never properly released; the ffs_dmabuf_cleanup() function decreases the reference count, but only to balance with the reference grab in ffs_dmabuf_signal_done(). The code will then slowly leak memory as more ffs_dma_fence objects are created without being ever freed. Address this issue by transferring ownership of the fence to the DMA reservation object, by calling dma_fence_put() right after dma_resv_add_fence(). The ffs_dma_fence then gets properly discarded after being signalled.
