| CVE-2026-92894 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite | 2026-09-18 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the foreman_ansible plugin's Ansible override values API. The destroy action resolves the target LookupValue record by ID without verifying it belongs to an AnsibleVariable the caller is authorized to edit. An authenticated user with the edit_ansible_variables permission can delete any LookupValue by ID, including override values for Ansible variables outside their permission filter scope and override values belonging to Puppet smart class parameters. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92904 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite | 2026-09-17 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the foreman_remote_execution plugin's template invocations controller. The show_template_invocation_by_host action resolves the job invocation by ID without evaluating the caller's view_job_invocations permission filter against the record. An authenticated user whose job invocation visibility is restricted by a permission filter can enumerate job invocation IDs and read the live output, rendered script, and input values for other users' job invocations within their own organizations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81668 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite | 2026-08-27 | 5.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Katello where the Content View Filter Rules API does not properly enforce authorization on the parent Content View Filter. An authenticated, low-privileged user with Content View permissions in one organization may be able to access and modify filter rules belonging to a Content View Filter in another organization by supplying that filter's identifier. This can result in unauthorized disclosure of filter-rule information and unauthorized changes to unpublished Content View filter configuration. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81658 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite | 2026-08-27 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. The template revision endpoint does not enforce object-level authorization when retrieving an audited template revision. An authenticated, low privileged user with a template-related permission, such as view_ptables, can obtain historical template contents belonging to another organization or location by supplying the corresponding audit ID. This can result in unauthorized disclosure of historical template contents, which may contain sensitive configuration information, credentials, or other secrets. The REST API revision endpoints correctly restrict this lookup. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9150 | 3 Opensuse, Red Hat, Redhat | 11 Libsolv, Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux and 8 more | 2026-07-31 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in libsolv's Debian metadata parser when processing specially crafted Debian repository metadata. An attacker could exploit this by providing malicious SHA384 or SHA512 checksum tags, leading to memory corruption and a denial of service (DoS) in the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9149 | 3 Opensuse, Red Hat, Redhat | 12 Libsolv, Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-07-31 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability occurs when a victim processes a specially crafted `.solv` file containing negative size values in the `repo_add_solv` function. This leads to an undersized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds write. An attacker could exploit this to cause a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-5136 | 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Theforeman | 7 Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux, Satellite and 4 more | 2026-07-01 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. The Usergroup model in Foreman does not properly validate role assignments against the calling user's permissions. This allows an authenticated user with usergroup management permissions to attach arbitrary roles, including administrative roles, to a user group and then add themselves as a member. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability leads to full privilege escalation, granting the attacker administrator-level access. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13316 | 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Theforeman | 3 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite, Foreman | 2026-06-30 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw has been found in foreman when HTTP parameters are modified in http_proxies_controller and http_proxy files. Attackers can perform an SSRF attack and steal cloud metadata service on AWS/GCP/Azure environment through foreman component. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0980 | 3 Logicminds, Red Hat, Redhat | 6 Rubyipmi, Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite and 3 more | 2026-04-16 | 8.3 High |
| A flaw was found in rubyipmi, a gem used in the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) component of Red Hat Satellite. An authenticated attacker with host creation or update permissions could exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious username for the BMC interface. This could lead to remote code execution (RCE) on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-1961 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 5 Red Hat Satellite 6, Satellite, Satellite Capsule and 2 more | 2026-04-08 | 8 High |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. A remote attacker could exploit a command injection vulnerability in Foreman's WebSocket proxy implementation. This vulnerability arises from the system's use of unsanitized hostname values from compute resource providers when constructing shell commands. By operating a malicious compute resource server, an attacker could achieve remote code execution on the Foreman server when a user accesses VM VNC console functionality. This could lead to the compromise of sensitive credentials and the entire managed infrastructure. | ||||
