| Integer overflow in libxml in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Integer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions prior to both 6.9.13-52 and 7.1.2-27, processing an extremely large JNX file on 32-bit platforms can cause an integer overflow, leading to a heap buffer over-write. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-52 and 7.1.2-27. |
| A signed integer overflow in the PCP __pmGetPDU() function can be exploited via crafted network packets during PDU processing or SASL negotiation. This permanently blinds the affected daemon, resulting in a total denial of service (DoS) for subsequent packet reads. |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions prior to 6.9.13-51 and 7.0.1-0 and above prior to 7.1.2-26, an invalid kernel can cause a heap buffer over-write when performing a morphology operation with a user supplied kernel. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
jfs: nlink overflow in jfs_rename
If nlink is maximal for a directory (-1) and inside that directory you
perform a rename for some child directory (not moving from the parent),
then the nlink of the first directory is first incremented and later
decremented. Normally this is fine, but when nlink = -1 this causes a
wrap around to 0, and then drop_nlink issues a warning.
After applying the patch syzbot no longer issues any warnings. I also
ran some basic fs tests to look for any regressions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net_sched: sch_sfq: reject invalid perturb period
Gerrard Tai reported that SFQ perturb_period has no range check yet,
and this can be used to trigger a race condition fixed in a separate patch.
We want to make sure ctl->perturb_period * HZ will not overflow
and is positive.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: ecdsa - Harden against integer overflows in DIV_ROUND_UP()
Herbert notes that DIV_ROUND_UP() may overflow unnecessarily if an ecdsa
implementation's ->key_size() callback returns an unusually large value.
Herbert instead suggests (for a division by 8):
X / 8 + !!(X & 7)
Based on this formula, introduce a generic DIV_ROUND_UP_POW2() macro and
use it in lieu of DIV_ROUND_UP() for ->key_size() return values.
Additionally, use the macro in ecc_digits_from_bytes(), whose "nbytes"
parameter is a ->key_size() return value in some instances, or a
user-specified ASN.1 length in the case of ecdsa_get_signature_rs(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: Fix a couple integer overflows on 32bit systems
On 32bit systems the "off + sizeof(struct NTFS_DE)" addition can
have an integer wrapping issue. Fix it by using size_add(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: Prevent integer overflow in hdr_first_de()
The "de_off" and "used" variables come from the disk so they both need to
check. The problem is that on 32bit systems if they're both greater than
UINT_MAX - 16 then the check does work as intended because of an integer
overflow. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udp: Fix multiple wraparounds of sk->sk_rmem_alloc.
__udp_enqueue_schedule_skb() has the following condition:
if (atomic_read(&sk->sk_rmem_alloc) > sk->sk_rcvbuf)
goto drop;
sk->sk_rcvbuf is initialised by net.core.rmem_default and later can
be configured by SO_RCVBUF, which is limited by net.core.rmem_max,
or SO_RCVBUFFORCE.
If we set INT_MAX to sk->sk_rcvbuf, the condition is always false
as sk->sk_rmem_alloc is also signed int.
Then, the size of the incoming skb is added to sk->sk_rmem_alloc
unconditionally.
This results in integer overflow (possibly multiple times) on
sk->sk_rmem_alloc and allows a single socket to have skb up to
net.core.udp_mem[1].
For example, if we set a large value to udp_mem[1] and INT_MAX to
sk->sk_rcvbuf and flood packets to the socket, we can see multiple
overflows:
# cat /proc/net/sockstat | grep UDP:
UDP: inuse 3 mem 7956736 <-- (7956736 << 12) bytes > INT_MAX * 15
^- PAGE_SHIFT
# ss -uam
State Recv-Q ...
UNCONN -1757018048 ... <-- flipping the sign repeatedly
skmem:(r2537949248,rb2147483646,t0,tb212992,f1984,w0,o0,bl0,d0)
Previously, we had a boundary check for INT_MAX, which was removed by
commit 6a1f12dd85a8 ("udp: relax atomic operation on sk->sk_rmem_alloc").
A complete fix would be to revert it and cap the right operand by
INT_MAX:
rmem = atomic_add_return(size, &sk->sk_rmem_alloc);
if (rmem > min(size + (unsigned int)sk->sk_rcvbuf, INT_MAX))
goto uncharge_drop;
but we do not want to add the expensive atomic_add_return() back just
for the corner case.
Casting rmem to unsigned int prevents multiple wraparounds, but we still
allow a single wraparound.
# cat /proc/net/sockstat | grep UDP:
UDP: inuse 3 mem 524288 <-- (INT_MAX + 1) >> 12
# ss -uam
State Recv-Q ...
UNCONN -2147482816 ... <-- INT_MAX + 831 bytes
skmem:(r2147484480,rb2147483646,t0,tb212992,f3264,w0,o0,bl0,d14468947)
So, let's define rmem and rcvbuf as unsigned int and check skb->truesize
only when rcvbuf is large enough to lower the overflow possibility.
Note that we still have a small chance to see overflow if multiple skbs
to the same socket are processed on different core at the same time and
each size does not exceed the limit but the total size does.
Note also that we must ignore skb->truesize for a small buffer as
explained in commit 363dc73acacb ("udp: be less conservative with
sock rmem accounting"). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: fix geneve_opt length integer overflow
struct geneve_opt uses 5 bit length for each single option, which
means every vary size option should be smaller than 128 bytes.
However, all current related Netlink policies cannot promise this
length condition and the attacker can exploit a exact 128-byte size
option to *fake* a zero length option and confuse the parsing logic,
further achieve heap out-of-bounds read.
One example crash log is like below:

Fix these issues by enforing correct length condition in related
policies. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix overflow in dacloffset bounds check
The dacloffset field was originally typed as int and used in an
unchecked addition, which could overflow and bypass the existing
bounds check in both smb_check_perm_dacl() and smb_inherit_dacl().
This could result in out-of-bounds memory access and a kernel crash
when dereferencing the DACL pointer.
This patch converts dacloffset to unsigned int and uses
check_add_overflow() to validate access to the DACL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/qaic: Fix integer overflow in qaic_validate_req()
These are u64 variables that come from the user via
qaic_attach_slice_bo_ioctl(). Use check_add_overflow() to ensure that
the math doesn't have an integer wrapping bug. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix integer overflows on 32 bit systems
On 32bit systems the addition operations in ipc_msg_alloc() can
potentially overflow leading to memory corruption.
Add bounds checking using KSMBD_IPC_MAX_PAYLOAD to avoid overflow. |
| FFmpeg through 8.1.2, fixed in commit aafb5c6, contains a signed integer overflow vulnerability in the MACE6 audio decoder that allows attackers to corrupt heap memory by supplying a crafted CAF file with a malicious bytes_per_packet value. Attackers can craft a CAF file with oversized bytes_per_packet and frames_per_packet values in the desc chunk to trigger an integer overflow in mace_decode_frame() during output sample count computation, resulting in an undersized buffer allocation and heap out-of-bounds write that could enable code execution. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: ecc - Fix carry overflow in vli multiplication
The carry flag calculation fails when r01.m_high is saturated
(0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF) and addition of lower bits overflows.
The condition (r01.m_high < product.m_high) doesn't handle the case
where r01.m_high == product.m_high and an additional carry exists
from lower-bit overflow.
When commit 3c4b23901a0c ("crypto: ecdh - Add ECDH software support")
introduced crypto/ecc.c, it split the muladd() function in the
micro-ecc library into separate mul_64_64() and add_128_128() helpers.
It seems the check got lost in translation.
Add proper handling for this boundary by accounting for the carry
from the lower addition. |
| Integer wraparound in IVFFlat index build in pgvector before 0.8.6 allows a database user to write data out-of-bounds, which could lead to arbitrary code execution. Only 32-bit systems are affected. |
| A flaw was found in HPLIP (HP Linux Imaging and Printing Software). This vulnerability, an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-8631, may allow a remote attacker to escalate privileges or achieve arbitrary code execution. This can occur through an integer overflow in the hpcups processing path when handling specially crafted print data. |
| A vulnerability was identified in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. This vulnerability affects the function cmd_anal_opcode of the file libr/core/cmd_anal.inc.c of the component hexpairs Parser. Such manipulation leads to integer overflow. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The name of the patch is 84e773986e7e5bb30453a9384f498ec0ccc9d0a9. A patch should be applied to remediate this issue. |
