CVE-2025-24911 1 Hitachi 1 Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server 2026-04-15 4.9 Medium
Overview   XML documents optionally contain a Document Type Definition (DTD), which, among other features, enables the definition of XML entities. It is possible to define an entity by providing a substitution string in the form of a URI. Once the content of the URI is read, it is fed back into the application that is processing the XML. This application may echo back the data (e.g. in an error message), thereby exposing the file contents. (CWE-611)   Description   Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.2, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, do not correctly protect Data Access XMLParserFactoryProducer against out-of-band XML External Entity Reference.   Impact   By submitting an XML file that defines an external entity with a file:// URI, an attacker can cause the processing application to read the contents of a local file. Using URIs with other schemes such as http://, the attacker can force the application to make outgoing requests to servers that the attacker cannot reach directly, which can be used to bypass firewall restrictions or hide the source of attacks such as port scanning.
CVE-2025-47778 1 Sulu 1 Sulu 2026-04-15 N/A
Sulu is an open-source PHP content management system based on the Symfony framework. Starting in versions 2.5.21, 2.6.5, and 3.0.0-alpha1, an admin user can upload SVG which may load external data via XML DOM library. This can be used for insecure XML External Entity References. The problem has been patched in versions 2.6.9, 2.5.25, and 3.0.0-alpha3. As a workaround, one may patch the effect file `src/Sulu/Bundle/MediaBundle/FileInspector/SvgFileInspector.php` manually.
CVE-2023-49110 1 Kiuwan 2 Local Analyzer, Sast 2026-04-15 7.2 High
When the Kiuwan Local Analyzer uploads the scan results to the Kiuwan SAST web application (either on-premises or cloud/SaaS solution), the transmitted data consists of a ZIP archive containing several files, some of them in the XML file format. During Kiuwan's server-side processing of these XML files, it resolves external XML entities, resulting in a XML external entity injection attack. An attacker with privileges to scan source code within the "Code Security" module is able to extract any files of the operating system with the rights of the application server user and is potentially able to gain sensitive files, such as configuration and passwords. Furthermore, this vulnerability also allows an attacker to initiate connections to internal systems, e.g. for port scans or accessing other internal functions / applications such as the Wildfly admin console of Kiuwan. This issue affects Kiuwan SAST: <master.1808.p685.q13371

CVE-2025-2070 2026-04-15 5 Medium
An improper XML parsing vulnerability was reported in the FileZ client that could allow arbitrary file reads on the system if a crafted url is visited by a local user.
CVE-2025-44044 2026-04-15 7.5 High
Keyoti SearchUnit prior to 9.0.0. is vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE). An attacker who can force a vulnerable SearchUnit host into parsing maliciously crafted XML and/or DTD files can exfiltrate some files from the underlying operating system.
CVE-2025-32406 2026-04-15 8.6 High
An XXE issue in the Director NBR component in NAKIVO Backup & Replication 10.3.x through 11.0.1 before 11.0.2 allows remote attackers fetch and parse the XML response.
CVE-2025-24521 2026-04-15 4.9 Medium
External XML entity injection allows arbitrary download of files. The score without least privilege principle violation is as calculated below. In combination with other issues it may facilitate further compromise of the device. Remediation in Version 6.8.0, release date: 01-Mar-25.
CVE-2025-6438 2026-04-15 N/A
A CWE-611: Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference vulnerability exists that could cause manipulation of SOAP API calls and XML external entities injection resulting in unauthorized file access when the server is accessed via the network using an application account.
CVE-2024-38374 1 Cyclonedx 1 Cyclonedx Core Java 2026-04-15 7.5 High
The CycloneDX core module provides a model representation of the SBOM along with utilities to assist in creating, validating, and parsing SBOMs. Before deserializing CycloneDX Bill of Materials in XML format, _cyclonedx-core-java_ leverages XPath expressions to determine the schema version of the BOM. The `DocumentBuilderFactory` used to evaluate XPath expressions was not configured securely, making the library vulnerable to XML External Entity (XXE) injection. This vulnerability has been fixed in cyclonedx-core-java version 9.0.4.
CVE-2024-52807 1 Hl7 1 Fhir Ig Publisher 2026-04-15 8.6 High
The HL7 FHIR IG publisher is a tool to take a set of inputs and create a standard FHIR IG. Prior to version 1.7.4, XSLT transforms performed by various components are vulnerable to XML external entity injections. A processed XML file with a malicious DTD tag `( ]>` could produce XML containing data from the host system. This impacts use cases where org.hl7.fhir.publisher is being used to within a host where external clients can submit XML. A previous release provided an incomplete solution revealed by new testing. This issue has been patched as of version 1.7.4. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2025-52162 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium

CVE-2024-54005 2026-04-15 5.1 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in COMOS V10.3 (All versions < V10.3.3.5.8), COMOS V10.4.0 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.1 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.2 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.3 (All versions < V10.4.3.0.47), COMOS V10.4.4 (All versions < V10.4.4.2), COMOS V10.4.4.1 (All versions < V10.4.4.1.21). The PDMS/E3D Engineering Interface improperly handles XML External Entity (XXE) entries when communicating with an external application. This could allow an attacker to extract any file with a known location on the user's system or accessible network folders by injecting malicious data into the communication channel between the two systems.
