| CVE-2026-58016 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 6 Glib, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A state confusion issue exists in g_dbus_node_info_new_for_xml() in the gio/gdbusintrospection.c file when processing malformed D-Bus introspection XML, specifically with a `node` element nested within other elements like `method`, `signal`, `property` or `arg`. This issue can cause an unsigned integer overflow and lead to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15003 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 6 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-07-28 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GNU Binutils (Binary Utilities) linker. This vulnerability, a heap-buffer-overflow read (CWE-125), occurs when the linker processes a specially crafted 32-bit XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file. An attacker could exploit this by providing a malicious file, leading to an out-of-bounds read of memory. This can result in information disclosure, potentially revealing sensitive heap data, and a Denial of Service (DoS) due to the linker crashing. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5674 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in PipeWire, a multimedia server. This vulnerability allows an attacker to escape sandboxed applications, such as Flatpak, by exploiting PipeWire's PulseAudio compatibility layer. An attacker with minimal permissions within a sandboxed environment can load a malicious library, leading to arbitrary code execution outside the sandbox and potential compromise of the user's system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12505 | 1 Redhat | 4 Cifs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the cifs-utils package where the cifs.upcall helper fails to securely drop its root privileges before looking up user information inside a user-controlled environment. A local, low privileged attacker can exploit this by using a crafted request_key payload to trick the root-owned helper into entering a custom environment (namespace) containing a malicious NSS module. This forces the system to load the attacker's controlled NSS Module and configuration, allowing them to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, elevating their privileges and fully compromising the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54099 | 1 Redhat | 4 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform, Openshift For Windows Containers and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the Windows Machine Config Operator (WMCO) for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. The WICD CSR auto-approver validates that a Certificate Signing Request contains the organization system:wicd-nodes but does not reject additional organization values such as system:masters. A compromised Windows worker node that holds WICD credentials can submit a CSR that is auto-approved and signed by the cluster, yielding a client certificate that grants cluster-administrator privileges and enabling full cluster takeover. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54100 | 1 Redhat | 4 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform, Openshift For Windows Containers and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 8.3 High |
| A flaw was found in the Windows Machine Config Operator (WMCO) for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. WMCO establishes SSH connections to Windows worker nodes without verifying the remote server host key. An adjacent-network attacker who can intercept or redirect WMCO's SSH session can capture WICD and kubelet bootstrap credentials transferred during node configuration, enabling compromise of Windows node identities in the cluster. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59251 | 2 Erlang, Redhat | 4 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Otp and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| Allocation of resources without limits in Erlang/OTP public_key certificate path validation allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause denial of service by sending a crafted X.509 certificate chain during the TLS handshake. During RFC 5280 policy processing in public_key:pkix_path_validation/3, the certificate policy tree maintained by pubkey_policy_tree grows without an upper bound. When a certificate chain contains M policies per certificate and K certificates, the tree grows on the order of M^K nodes because pubkey_policy_tree:add_leaves/2 and pubkey_policy_tree:add_leaf_siblings/2 extend the tree per policy per certificate. A modest chain with many policies per certificate is enough to pin BEAM schedulers and exhaust the node's memory, taking down the entire VM. The attacker only needs to be able to present a certificate chain to the victim, which is the normal precondition for a TLS handshake, so exploitation succeeds against any incoming or outgoing TLS connection that validates the peer's chain (the default for SSL/TLS clients and mutual-TLS servers). This is the same vulnerability class as OpenSSL's X509_verify_cert policy tree DoS. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/public_key/src/pubkey_policy_tree.erl and program routines pubkey_policy_tree:add_leaves/2 and pubkey_policy_tree:add_leaf_siblings/2. This issue affects OTP from OTP 26.2 before OTP 29.0.4, OTP 28.5.0.4 and OTP 27.3.4.15, corresponding to public_key from 1.15 before 1.21.4, 1.20.3.4 and 1.17.1.5. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4244 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-07-28 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18047 | 1 Redhat | 2 Certificate System, Enterprise Linux | 2026-07-28 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI's ACME responder where the web.xml security constraints use exact URL pattern matching for admin-only enable/disable endpoints. By appending a trailing slash to the URL, an unauthenticated attacker can bypass the Tomcat authentication constraint while RESTEasy still routes the request to the handler, allowing unauthorized toggling of the ACME service state including persistent denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-49332 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2026-07-28 | 8.5 High |
| A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-proxy. The proxy sets authenticated identity headers using only dash-variant keys (X-Forwarded-User) but does not strip underscore-variant keys (X_Forwarded_User) from incoming requests. WSGI and PHP frameworks normalize both variants to the same variable, allowing an authenticated low-privilege user to smuggle a forged identity that may override the legitimate authenticated identity in the upstream application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4367 | 2 Libxpm Projet, Redhat | 4 Libxpm, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-07-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libXpm. A local user with low privileges could exploit an Out-of-Bounds Read vulnerability in the `xpmNextWord()` function by processing a specially crafted or very small XPM (X PixMap) image file. This improper validation of file boundaries can cause an internal pointer to read beyond the file's end, leading to application crashes and Denial of Service conditions. | ||||
| CVE-2019-25708 | 2 Heatmiser, Redhat | 3 Heatmiser Wifi Thermostat, Wifi Thermostat, Thermostat | 2026-07-28 | 4.3 Medium |
| Heatmiser Wifi Thermostat 1.7 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to change administrator credentials by tricking authenticated users into submitting malicious requests. Attackers can craft HTML forms targeting the networkSetup.htm endpoint with parameters usnm, usps, and cfps to modify the admin username and password without user consent. | ||||
| CVE-2018-25396 | 2 Heatmiser, Redhat | 2 Heatmiser Wifi Thermostat, Thermostat | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| Heatmiser Wifi Thermostat 1.7 contains a credential disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve administrative credentials by accessing the networkSetup.htm page. Attackers can request the networkSetup.htm endpoint and extract plaintext username and password values from HTML form fields to gain administrative access to the thermostat. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14476 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 5 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-07-28 | 8 High |
| A path traversal flaw was found in SSSD's AD GPO provider. The ad_gpo_extract_smb_components() function does not sanitize .. sequences in the gPCFileSysPath LDAP attribute, allowing an attacker with AD GPO management access to write files outside the GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can be used to inject Kerberos configuration leading to authentication bypass. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14474 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in SSSD's LDAP sudo provider. When the ldap_sudo_search_base option is not explicitly configured, SSSD searches the entire LDAP directory tree for sudoRole objects. An authenticated attacker with write access to any subtree can inject a sudoRole object granting root-level sudo privileges on all SSSD-enrolled hosts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66035 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 42e33d8, contains a pre-authentication heap buffer overflow vulnerability that allows a malicious SSH server to corrupt heap metadata in any connecting client by sending a packet with a packet_length smaller than the cipher's block size during Encrypt-then-MAC cipher negotiation. In the fullpacket() function in src/transport.c, the ETM path allocates a buffer of packet_length bytes but copies blocksize minus one bytes via memcpy, causing an overflow that on 32-bit glibc writes attacker-controlled bytes into an adjacent chunk's SIZE field, enabling tcache bin confusion, overlapping live objects, and function pointer overwrite during the session handshake before authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66034 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit a13bb6c, contains a missing bounds check vulnerability that allows a malicious SSH server to trigger an arbitrary-length heap out-of-bounds read and a free of an uninitialized pointer via the publickey subsystem. In libssh2_publickey_list_fetch(), the version 1 response parser reads a server-controlled comment_len value and advances the parse pointer without verifying sufficient bytes remain in the buffer, causing the out-of-bounds read to leak heap pointers from adjacent allocations defeating ASLR, followed by heap allocator state corruption when the error cleanup path frees an uninitialized pointer from a non-zeroed realloc() region. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66033 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird | 2026-07-28 | 7.5 High |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit a2ed82d, contains a pre-authentication integer underflow vulnerability in the ssh2_cipher_crypt() function in src/openssl.c that allows a malicious SSH server to crash any connecting client by negotiating AES-GCM ciphers during handshake. Attackers can exploit the underflow in the expression computing blocksize minus aadlen minus authentication tag length to trigger an out-of-bounds read and a memcpy call with a near-SIZE_MAX length argument, causing immediate process crash before any authentication occurs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66032 | 2 Libssh2, Redhat | 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird | 2026-07-28 | 8.8 High |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 5e47761, contains a double-free vulnerability in the sftp_open() function in src/sftp.c that allows a malicious SSH server to corrupt the heap of any authenticated client opening an SFTP session. When a server responds to SSH_FXP_OPEN with SSH_FXP_STATUS containing FX_OK, the response data buffer is freed, and if a subsequent sftp_packet_require() call returns a specific error such as LIBSSH2_ERROR_CHANNEL_PACKET_EXCEEDED, the same pointer is freed a second time, enabling tcache dup conditions on glibc systems that allow overlapping allocations and function pointer overwrites. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59842 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-07-27 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in libssh. During server-side GSSAPI key exchange, a client-supplied Curve25519 public key shorter than the expected length is copied without proper length validation, leading to an out-of-bounds heap read. This could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to disclose small amounts of server memory. | ||||
