CVE-2026-17573 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2026-07-28 5.0 Medium
A double free vulnerability was discovered in the HDF5 library. Processing a crafted HDF5 file containing an oversized chunk size field via h5repack may cause the application to abort due to a double free.
CVE-2023-4244 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 5 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more 2026-07-28 7.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8.
CVE-2026-13807 2 Apple, Google 2 Iphone Os, Chrome 2026-07-28 7.5 High
Use after free in Import in Google Chrome on iOS prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to execute arbitrary code via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-15764 2 Google, Linux 2 Chrome, Linux Kernel 2026-07-28 7.5 High
Use after free in Ozone in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
CVE-2026-15765 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-07-28 7.5 High
Use after free in Ozone in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
CVE-2026-56117 2 Dhcpcd Project, Networkconfiguration 2 Dhcpcd, Dhcpcd 2026-07-28 4.7 Medium
dhcpcd through 10.3.2, fixed in commit 78ea09e, contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in the control socket handling within src/control.c that allows local unprivileged attackers to trigger memory corruption when privilege separation is disabled. Attackers can connect to the control socket and send a privileged command such as -x, causing control_recvdata() to free the client object while the same READ+HANGUP event subsequently reaches control_hangup() with the stale pointer, resulting in a use-after-free condition exploitable in deployments using --disable-privsep or where privsep initialization has failed with the control socket operating in mode 0666.
CVE-2026-56113 2 Dhcpcd Project, Networkconfiguration 2 Dhcpcd, Dhcpcd 2026-07-28 5.3 Medium
dhcpcd through 10.3.2, fixed in commit 5733d3c, contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability that allows unauthenticated same-link attackers to crash the daemon by sending a crafted DHCPv6 RENEW reply with RFC6603 OPTION_PD_EXCLUDE and both preferred and valid lifetimes set to zero. Attackers acting as or impersonating a DHCPv6 server can trigger dhcp6_deprecatedele() to free a delegated child address while an outer TAILQ_FOREACH_SAFE iterator in dhcp6_deprecateaddrs() still holds the freed pointer, causing a use-after-free when TAILQ_REMOVE is reached.
CVE-2026-66032 2 Libssh2, Redhat 2 Libssh2, Hummingbird 2026-07-28 8.8 High
libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 5e47761, contains a double-free vulnerability in the sftp_open() function in src/sftp.c that allows a malicious SSH server to corrupt the heap of any authenticated client opening an SFTP session. When a server responds to SSH_FXP_OPEN with SSH_FXP_STATUS containing FX_OK, the response data buffer is freed, and if a subsequent sftp_packet_require() call returns a specific error such as LIBSSH2_ERROR_CHANNEL_PACKET_EXCEEDED, the same pointer is freed a second time, enabling tcache dup conditions on glibc systems that allow overlapping allocations and function pointer overwrites.
CVE-2026-64832 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-07-28 8.8 High
FFmpeg versions 4.4 through 8.1.2 contain a double-free vulnerability in the NVIDIA NVDEC hardware decoder within libavcodec/nvdec.c that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by supplying a crafted video file. When no decoder surfaces remain, the ff_nvdec_start_frame_sep_ref error path frees memory via nvdec_fdd_priv_free while the calling layer subsequently frees the same frame description data, resulting in a double-free of the underlying decoder context in any FFmpeg-based application using NVDEC hardware-accelerated decoding.
CVE-2026-59850 2 Libssh, Redhat 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-07-27 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. If data packets are processed after a channel is closed, channel data callbacks can be invoked after the associated data has already been freed, leading to crashes or possible use-after-free conditions.
CVE-2026-52863 1 Nlnetlabs 1 Unbound 2026-07-27 5.9 Medium
In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.25.0 up to and including 1.25.1, a fix that makes the 'respip' and 'dns64' modules work together, creates a shallow copy of the view name in effect that could lead to memory corruption if the owner of the original view name is jostled out when Unbound is under pressure. Unbound needs to be configured with one of 'respip'/'rpz' modules, together with a module that can attach subqueries (respip CNAME redirection, dns64, subnetcache) and a configured 'access-control-view' while Unbound is under pressure so that joslte logic kicks in and starts dropping slow queries. The subquery is getting a shallow copy of the view name and if the super query which owns the view name is jostled out, memory corruption can occur. Likelihood of a crash is low, since it relies heavily on the underlying memory allocator and the memory layout. Debug memory builds (e.g., ASAN) that catch the free terminate the server.
