CVE-2026-58089 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-26 7.8 High
When a process calls execve(2) to execute a setuid or setgid image, hwpmc(4) is supposed to detach PMCs owned by unprivileged processes. An inverted check meant that this scenario was not handled properly. An unprivileged local user who has attached PMCs to a process can continue monitoring it after the process executes a setuid or setgid binary, contrary to the intended policy.
CVE-2026-55620 1 Govcert-lu 1 Eml Parser 2026-08-26 7.5 High
eml_parser serves as a python module for parsing eml files and returning various information found in the e-mail as well as computed information. Prior to 3.0.2, eml_parser.routing.noparenthesis in eml_parser/routing.py removes parenthesized CFWS comments from Received: headers with a regex-based fix-point loop whose running time is quadratic in the nesting depth. A single Received: header with 5,000 nested parentheses causes approximately 1.3 seconds of CPU saturation per parsed message, and doubling the nesting depth approximately quadruples the running time. An attacker can submit relatively small EML files that consume multiple seconds of processing time, causing worker latency, queue backpressure, and possible service-level outages in synchronous gateways, sandboxes, and real-time triage pipelines. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.2.
CVE-2026-55609 1 Ruvnet 1 Sublinear-time-solver 2026-08-26 7.1 High
sublinear-time-solver is a Rust and WebAssembly library for solving asymmetric diagonally dominant systems in sublinear time. Prior to consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0, the export_state and import_state tools in src/consciousness-explorer/mcp/server.js pass the attacker-controlled filepath parameter to filesystem operations in src/consciousness-explorer/index.js without restricting the destination or rejecting traversal. The saveVectorToFile and loadVectorFromFile tools in src/mcp/server.ts contain the same sink class through the file_path parameter. An attacker able to invoke the MCP tools can read, write, or overwrite any file accessible to the server process, causing confidentiality and integrity loss and possible service disruption. This issue is fixed in consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0.
CVE-2026-55099 2026-08-26 7.5 High
icalendar is an RFC 5545 compatible parser and generator of iCalendar files for Python. From 7.1.0 until 7.1.3, the Component equality method in src/icalendar/cal/component.py compares nested subcomponents with two membership loops, and each membership test invokes the same method on child components, causing O(2^n) work relative to nesting depth. Component.from_ical accepts arbitrarily nested BEGIN:VEVENT blocks without a depth limit, so an attacker can submit a sub-kilobyte .ics file containing equal nested subtrees and trigger the cost when an application performs equality, inequality, membership, deduplication, test-assertion, round-trip, or normalization comparisons. Parsing alone does not trigger the issue, and comparisons that differ early short-circuit, but a few hundred bytes can pin a CPU core for minutes or indefinitely, causing denial of service in calendar sync or import endpoints, invite processing, and other comparison paths. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.3.
CVE-2026-54553 2026-08-26 5.4 Medium
Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications. Prior to 0.16.1, the list API does not validate user-supplied order_by and structured where field names against the configured sortable_fields and searchable_fields allowlists. An authenticated user with access to an affected list endpoint can submit arbitrary field names to starlette_admin/base.py and the BaseModelView validation path, bypassing restrictions presented by the administrative user interface. Requests can sort or filter on fields that are not intended to be sortable or searchable, causing limited information exposure. Invalid field names and special Python attribute names such as metadata and the class dunder attribute can also trigger unhandled exceptions and HTTP 500 responses, causing limited denial of service for targeted requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.1.
CVE-2026-54550 2026-08-26 7.4 High
IzPack is a widely used tool for packaging applications on the Java platform as cross-platform installers. In 5.2.6 and earlier, UnpackerBase.unpack() in izpack-installer/src/main/java/com/izforge/izpack/installer/unpacker/UnpackerBase.java obtains an attacker-controlled PackFile targetPath, passes it through IoHelper.translatePath(), which only converts separators, and constructs a File without normalizing parent-directory segments or enforcing destination containment. A malicious installer pack entry containing ../ sequences can therefore write outside the intended installation directory to startup folders, executable search paths, or other locations accessible with the victim's privileges when the victim runs the installer.
CVE-2026-53965 2026-08-26 N/A
The MCP PHP SDK (Composer package mcp/sdk) is the official Model Context Protocol SDK for PHP. In versions 0.5.0 through 0.7.0, the HTTP client transport reads a Server-Sent Events response stream incrementally and appends each chunk to an in-memory buffer with no upper bound. The buffer is only flushed when an SSE event delimiter, a double newline, is found, so a remote MCP server that streams response bytes without ever sending the delimiter causes the buffer to grow without limit. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middle-controlled server that the client connects to over the HTTP transport can exploit this to exhaust the client process's memory, triggering a fatal allocation error or OS out-of-memory kill and denying service to the MCP client. The issue affects any client using HttpTransport against an untrusted server endpoint and does not require authentication or user interaction beyond initiating the connection. This issue is fixed in version 0.7.1.
CVE-2026-44476 2026-08-26 N/A
Doorkeeper is an OAuth 2 provider for Ruby on Rails. In version 1.9.0, an attacker who knows only a dynamically registered client's client_id, which is public information, can authenticate as that client at the token endpoint and obtain an access token without providing its client_secret. This occurs because the Dynamic Client Registration feature creates applications with confidential: false hard-coded, even though the registration response returns a client_secret and advertises support for the client_secret_basic and client_secret_post authentication methods; since Doorkeeper treats a blank or missing secret as valid for non-confidential (public) clients, the secret is never verified. Only projects that have explicitly enabled Dynamic Client Registration, which is disabled by default, are affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.0.
CVE-2026-41707 1 Spring 1 Spring Security 2026-08-26 7.4 High
Authentication Bypass by Capture-replay vulnerability in Spring Spring Security allows Spring Security's DPoPProofJwtDecoderFactory contains a cache-based replay attack vulnerability. The internal cache storing JWT ID claims has a strict size limit, allowing attackers to evict legitimate entries by flooding the server with dummy requests, then replay intercepted valid DPoP proofs. This issue affects Spring Security: 7.1.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.6, and from 6.5.0 through 6.5.11.

CVE-2026-50237 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-26 7.4 High
A Server-Side Request Forgery and supply chain flaw was found in the OpenShift Console Helm catalog proxy. A namespace tenant can plant a ProjectHelmChartRepository with an arbitrary URL that the console pod fetches server-side, bypassing tenant egress restrictions. Combined with catalog metadata poisoning and admin-mediated chart installation, this enables privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-50236 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-26 7.4 High
An authenticated SSRF flaw was found in the OpenShift Console Dev Console webhook helpers. User-supplied target URLs are fetched server-side without validation, with path neutralization enabling arbitrary endpoint targeting and full response reflection from the console pod's privileged network position.
CVE-2026-49332 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-08-26 8.5 High
A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-proxy. The proxy sets authenticated identity headers using only dash-variant keys (X-Forwarded-User) but does not strip underscore-variant keys (X_Forwarded_User) from incoming requests. WSGI and PHP frameworks normalize both variants to the same variable, allowing an authenticated low-privilege user to smuggle a forged identity that may override the legitimate authenticated identity in the upstream application.
