Capgo (capgo.app) backend through 12.242.4 does not validate parent-child delegation when processing the x-limited-key-id header. checkKeyByIdPg() in supabase/functions/_backend/utils/hono_middleware.ts resolves the attacker-supplied numeric API key ID using only the key ID, its expiration state, and the authenticating key's user_id, while hasLimitedRbacSubkeyScope() accepts any key with a non-organization (e.g., app-scoped) RBAC binding and validateSubkeyUser() only compares owning user IDs. Because Capgo treats API keys as independent RBAC principals with separate role bindings, an authenticated apikey_manager API key with no application access can supply the numeric ID of a more privileged same-owner key and have the middleware replace the authenticated principal and effective API-key secret with that key (setSubkeyAuthContext), exercising an app_admin sibling's permissions without knowing or submitting its secret. The issue was reproduced on release 12.242.4 (commit b3d02cdbc23ac59990785acacd1f113c07458568) after the fix for GHSA-8h52-44r7-w343; at the time of the advisory no patched version was available.

capgo.app (npm package `capgo`) through version 12.207.1 does not compare the caller's role rank against the requested role in the validateInvite() function of supabase/functions/_backend/private/invite_new_user_to_org.ts. The POST /private/invite_new_user_to_org endpoint only requires the org.update_user_roles permission for org_super_admin invitations, so an authenticated user holding only the org.invite_user permission (e.g., an org_member) can invite an external user as org_admin or org_billing_admin. When the invited account accepts the invitation via POST /private/accept_invitation, ensureOrgMembership creates the role binding using the Supabase service-role key, which bypasses the prevent_role_binding_priority_escalation and check_org_user_privileges database triggers. This allows privilege escalation resulting in full administrative control over the organization's apps, channels, members, and billing. The issue is addressed by pull request #3096, which compares the inviter's rank before permitting elevated invitations.

Capgo (capgo.app) fails to restrict direct write access to the public.sso_providers table exposed through Supabase PostgREST. A holder of an ordinary Capgo full API key can insert a row with status='active' and enforce_sso=true, bypassing the intended backend SSO provisioning route (supabase/functions/_backend/private/sso/providers.ts) and its controls: the Enterprise plan requirement, SSO provider creation via the Supabase Management API, DNS TXT domain-ownership verification, the pending_verification → verified → active status transition, and issuance of a trusted provider ID by Supabase Auth. The forged row is trusted by SSO discovery and enforcement logic, including the unauthenticated login preflight endpoint /private/sso/check-domain, which then reports {"has_sso": true, "enforce_sso": true} for domains that were never verified, allowing attacker-controlled SSO enforcement to be asserted for arbitrary domains and disrupting normal login. All versions are affected; at the time of the advisory no patch was available.

The canonicalizePayloadBlock() function in bpsec_util.c passes bundle->payload.length to zco_clone() without validating it against zero, causing a failed CHKZERO assertion that triggers sm_Abort() and terminates the process with SIGABRT before any HMAC verification occurs, requiring no valid key or credential to exploit.

Improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic in the GridFS component of the MongoDB PHP Library can cause a caller-supplied structured file identifier to be interpreted as a query condition rather than as a literal identifier. An authenticated user who can influence the identifier passed by an affected application may obtain stored file content beyond the intended target or cause all GridFS file chunks in the affected bucket to be removed, rendering stored file content unreadable. The affected rename operation may also rename a stored file other than the intended target.

This is due to the create_order_permission() permission callback on the POST /wp-json/booktics/v1/orders REST route unconditionally returning true, combined with find_and_update_guest() overwriting an existing customer record's stored name, phone, and wp_user_id whenever the caller-supplied email matches, with no proof of ownership. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the contact details (name and phone) of any existing customer whose email address they know, poisoning downstream reminder emails, SMS, calendar invites, and CRM data.

This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the mla_link_href parameter when mla_output is set to 'paginate_links', where the _paginate_links() function processes the value through mla_process_shortcode_parameter() and _replace_query_parameter() without proper URL escaping, then outputs it directly in href attributes without applying esc_url(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

The Media Library Assistant plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the bulk edit preset export/import mechanism in versions up to and including 3.35. This is due to insufficient output escaping on preset field values when they are rendered in HTML attribute contexts in the mla_generate_bulk_edit_form_fieldsets() function and mla-bulk-edit-fieldsets.tpl template. While wp_kses() filtering is applied during preset export for users without unfiltered_html capability, this does not prevent attribute injection attacks since the malicious payload consists of quotes and HTML attributes rather than HTML tags. When preset values are retrieved and rendered, they are directly assigned to template variables without esc_attr() escaping and then inserted into input element value attributes via simple string replacement. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above (upload_files capability), to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator imports the poisoned preset and the targeted input field receives focus.

Headroom compresses data before the data reaches a large language model. Prior to version 0.35.0, the Headroom WebSocket server does not validate the `Origin` header of incoming client WebSocket requests before forwarding the request to the upstream server, allowing malicious WebSocket clients to perform arbitrary LLM requests without authentication. This can be exploited by a malicious WebSocket client executed in a traditional or headless browser such as lightpanda, if the browser has access to the Headroom proxy and the OpenAI API key is stored in the `OPENAI_API_KEY` environment variable. Version 0.35.0 fixes the issue.
