CVSS v3.1 |
| GNU Barcode 0.99 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in its code 93 encoding process that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption. Attackers can exploit boundary errors during input file processing to potentially execute arbitrary code on the affected system. |
| Authenticated command injection in the filename of a <redacted>.exe request leads to remote code execution as the root user.
This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC models before version 24120701.
Likelihood: Moderate – This action is not a common place for command injection vulnerabilities to occur. Thus, an attacker will likely only be able to find this vulnerability by reverse-engineering the firmware or trying it on all <redacted> fields. The attacker will also need a (low privilege) account to gain access to the <redacted> binary, or convince a user with such access to execute a payload.
Impact: Critical – The attacker has full control over the charging station as the root user, and can arbitrarily add, modify and delete files and services.
CVSS clarification: This attack can be performed over any network conenction serving the web interfacr (AV:N), and there are not additional mitigating measures that need to be circumvented (AC:L) or other prerequisites (AT:N). The attack does require privileges, but the level does not matter (PR:L), there is no user interaction required (UI:N). The attack leeds to a full compromised of the charger (VC:H/VI:H/VA:H) and a compromised charger can be used to "pivot" to networks that should normally not be reachable (SC:L/SI:L/SA:H). Because this is an EV chargers with significant pwoer, there is a potential safety imp0act (S:P). THis attack can be automated (AU:Y). |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability affecting Station Launcher App in 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x through Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2025x could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the user's machine. |
| mySCADA myPRO does not properly neutralize POST requests sent to a specific port with version information. This vulnerability could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. |
| OS command injection vulnerability exists in network storage servers STEALTHONE D220/D340 provided by Y'S corporation. An attacker who can access the affected product may execute an arbitrary OS command. |
| The OBS service obs-service-download_url was vulnerable to a command injection vulnerability. The attacker could provide a configuration to the service that allowed to execute command in later steps |
| OS command injection vulnerability exists in ffBull ver.4.11, which may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute an arbitrary OS command with the privilege of the running web server. Note that the developer was unreachable, therefore, users should consider stop using ffBull ver.4.11. |
| Smartwares cameras CIP-37210AT and C724IP, as well as others which share the same firmware in versions up to 3.3.0, are vulnerable to command injection.
During the initialization process, a user has to use a mobile app to provide devices with Access Point credentials. This input is not properly sanitized, what allows for command injection.
The vendor has not replied to reports, so the patching status remains unknown. Newer firmware versions might be vulnerable as well. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists in various models of E-Series Linksys routers via the /tmUnblock.cgi and /hndUnblock.cgi endpoints over HTTP on port 8080. The CGI scripts improperly process user-supplied input passed to the ttcp_ip parameter without sanitization, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject shell commands. This vulnerability was reported to be exploited in the wild by the "TheMoon" worm in 2014 to deploy a MIPS ELF payload, enabling arbitrary code execution on the router. Additionally, this vulnerability may affect other Linksys products to include, but not limited to, WAG/WAP/WES/WET/WRT-series router models and Wireless-N access points and routers. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-06 UTC. |
| A parameter within a command does not properly validate input within myPRO Manager which could be exploited by an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject arbitrary operating system commands. |
| WRC-BE36QS-B and WRC-W701-B contain an improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in WebGUI. If exploited, an arbitrary OS command may be executed by a remote attacker who can log in to WebGUI. |
| OS command injection vulnerability exists in AIPHONE IX SYSTEM and IXG SYSTEM. A network-adjacent authenticated attacker may execute an arbitrary OS command with root privileges by sending a specially crafted request. |
| In MITRE Caldera through 4.2.0 and 5.0.0 before 35bc06e, a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability was found in the dynamic agent (implant) compilation functionality of the server. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server that Caldera is running on via a crafted web request to the Caldera server API used for compiling and downloading of Caldera's Sandcat or Manx agent (implants). This web request can use the gcc -extldflags linker flag with sub-commands. |
| An issue was discovered on NRadio N8-180 NROS-1.9.2.n3.c5 devices. The /cgi-bin/luci/nradio/basic/radio endpoint is vulnerable to command injection via the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz name parameters, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands on the device (with root-level permissions) via crafted input. |
| FLIR Thermal Camera FC-S/PT firmware version 8.0.0.64 contains an authenticated OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands with root privileges. Authenticated attackers can inject arbitrary shell commands through unvalidated input parameters to gain complete control of the thermal camera system. |
| FLIR Thermal Camera PT-Series firmware version 8.0.0.64 contains multiple unauthenticated remote command injection vulnerabilities in the controllerFlirSystem.php script. Attackers can execute arbitrary system commands as root by exploiting unsanitized POST parameters in the execFlirSystem() function through shell_exec() calls. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2026-01-06 (UTC). |
| When calculating the content path in handling of MPEG-DASH manifests, there's an out-of-bounds NUL-byte write one byte past the end of the buffer. When we call xmlNodeGetContent below [0], it returns a buffer precisely allocated to match the string length, using strdup internally. If this buffer is not an empty string, it is assigned to root_url at [1].If the last (non-NUL) byte in this buffer is not '/' then we append '/' in-place at [2]. This will write two bytes into the buffer, starting at the last valid byte in the buffer, writing the NUL byte beyond the end of the allocated buffer.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| When parsing the header for a DHAV file, there's an integer underflow in offset calculation that leads to reading the duration from before the start of the allocated buffer.
If we load a DHAV file that is larger than MAX_DURATION_BUFFER_SIZE bytes (0x100000) for example 0x101000 bytes, then at [0] we have size = 0x101000. At [1] we have end_buffer_size = 0x100000, and at [2] we have end_buffer_pos = 0x1000.
The loop then scans backwards through the buffer looking for the dhav tag; when it is found, we'll calculate end_pos based on a 32-bit offset read from the buffer.
There is subsequently a check [3] that end_pos is within the section of the file that has been copied into end_buffer, but it only correctly handles the cases where end_pos is before the start of the file or after the section copied into end_buffer, and not the case where end_pos is within the the file, but before the section copied into end_buffer. If we provide such an offset, (end_pos - end_buffer_pos) can underflow, resulting in the subsequent access at [4] occurring before the beginning of the allocation.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, the specified raw length of run-length-encoded data is not checked when using it to calculate the output data.
We read rle_raw_size from the input file at [0], we decompress and decode into the buffer td->rle_raw_data of size rle_raw_size at [1], and then at [2] we will access entries in this buffer up to (td->xsize - 1) * (td->ysize - 1) + rle_raw_size / 2, which may exceed rle_raw_size.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists due to improper input
validation. The application accepts a parameter directly from user input
without verifying it is a valid IP address or filtering potentially
malicious characters. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker to
inject arbitrary commands. |
