CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/efa: Fix PBL chunk length computation
On register MR, when creating the PBL, if it's an indirect PBL we create
a chunk list to hold the PBL pages pointers. Each chunk is 4KB in size
and can hold 510 addresses (EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK) and has a 12-byte
control buffer at the end of it holding the next chunk's pointer and its
length.
If the PBL number of pages is a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, the
calculated last chunk length is wrongly computed as 0, even though that
chunk is fully populated with 510 real page pointers. This wrong length
is used both to DMA map the chunk and is propagated to the device,
causing the device to see the chunk as empty and reject the memory
registration.
Fix the calculation so it will be performed only if the number of pages
isn't a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, if it is, its already handled in
the above loop correctly.
Also prevent out-of-bounds reach in the chunks array in such scenario. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pinctrl: bcm2835: Don't remove an unregistered GPIO chip
If the devm_pinctrl_register() function fails,
bcm2835_pinctrl_probe() calls gpiochip_remove()
before gpiochip_add_data() has registered the GPIO chip.
This means that upon failure the gpio_chip.gpiodev
is NULL resulting in a null pointer dereference
inside the gpiochip_remove() function.
Remove the unnecessary function call to gpiochip_remove().
No GPIO cleanup is required because the GPIO chip
has not yet been registered. Without this change there
is potential for a kernel panic upon registration failure |
| The Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.0.5 via the 'page_url' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services. This vulnerability is only reachable when the plugin's dom_get_type setting has been configured to 'wp_remote_post' by an administrator. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: restore active device pointers after failed sprout
btrfs_init_new_device() switches latest_dev and possibly s_bdev from the
seed device to the new sprout device before creating the first writable
chunks.
If chunk creation or the subsequent sprout setup fails, the error path
releases the new device without switching those pointers back.
btrfs_show_devname() can then dereference the freed latest_dev and crash.
Restore the active device pointers to the latest seed device before
removing and releasing the failed sprout device. |

which matches the following BUG_ON() in alternative.c:
/*
* If something went wrong, crash and burn since recovery paths are not
* implemented.
*/
BUG_ON(!pages[0] || (cross_page_boundary && !pages[1]));
This can happen if vmalloc_to_page() fails, for any reason. Such can happen
if text poking races with CPA, which can possibly result in the collapsing
of page tables (or breaking of PMD hugepages). It is not a problem for most
users of vmalloc_to_page() (they solely own the vmalloc'd range) but, when
CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_EXECMEM_ROX=y, various modules own a single execmem vmalloc
range, and can call set_memory_*() in parallel on it. This can happen to
race against __text_poke and cause havoc in vmalloc_to_page().
Fix it by excluding against CPA using the init_mm mmap read lock.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tick/broadcast: Plug clockevents replacement race
朱恺乾 reported and decoded the following race condition when a broadcast
device is replaced:
CPUA CPUB
__tick_broadcast_oneshot_control()
bc = tick_broadcast_device.evtdev;
tick_install_broadcast_device(dev)
clockevents_exchange_device(cur, dev)
shutdown(cur);
detach(cur);
cur->handler = noop;
tick_broadcast_device.evtdev = dev;
tick_broadcast_set_event(bc, next_event); <- FAIL: arms a detached device.
If the original broadcast device has a restricted interrupt affinity mask
and the last CPU in that mask goes offline then the BUG() in
tick_cleanup_dead_cpu() triggers because the clockevent device is not in
detached state.
The reason for this is that tick_install_broadcast_device() is not
serialized vs. tick broadcast operations.
The obvious cure is to serialize tick_install_broadcast_device() with
tick_broadcast_lock against a concurrent tick broadcast operation.
That requires to split clockevents_exchange_device() into two parts, one
which does the exchange, shutdown and detach operation and the other which
drops the module reference count. This is required because the module
reference cannot be dropped while holding tick_broadcast_lock.
Let clockevents_exchange_device() do both operations as before, but let the
broadcast device code take the two step approach and do the device
exchange under tick_broadcast_lock and drop the module reference count
after releasing it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Take the reference before publishing the named histogram trigger
event_hist_trigger_named_init() puts the trigger on the global
named_triggers list and only then takes the reference on the trigger it
shares its histogram with:
data->ref++;
save_named_trigger(data->named_data->name, data);
ret = event_hist_trigger_init(data->named_data);
if (ret < 0) {
kfree(data->cmd_ops);
data->cmd_ops = &trigger_hist_cmd;
}
return ret;
event_hist_trigger_init() fails when alloc_hist_pad() cannot allocate, and
nothing takes the trigger back off the list on the way out.
event_hist_trigger_parse() frees it, and the next lookup by name reads the
freed object:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
accel/ivpu: Validate full buffer range in ivpu_to_cpu_addr
Add a size parameter to ivpu_to_cpu_addr() and validate that the
whole [vpu_addr, vpu_addr + size) range stays within the BO. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ieee802154: 6lowpan: fix NULL dereference in lowpan_newlink
TUNSETLINK allows a TUN device to change its link-layer type to
ARPHRD_IEEE802154 without initializing ieee802154_ptr. lowpan_newlink()
checks only the device type before dereferencing the pointer, so an
RTM_NEWLINK request can trigger a NULL pointer dereference.
Reject devices without ieee802154_ptr along with devices of the wrong type. |
| The cisco_firesight_manager_ACL_rule_export module in misp-modules generates a shell script (.sh) that authenticates to and calls the Cisco fireSIGHT Manager API. The module interpolates configuration values (IP address, login, password, domain ID, policy ID) and MISP attribute values (destination IPs, URLs, event info comments) directly into single-quoted shell string assignments without any escaping or sanitization. Because the values are placed inside single-quoted shell strings, any value containing a single-quote character (e.g., a crafted ip-dst or url attribute value submitted to MISP) breaks out of the quoting context, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary shell commands into the exported script. A security analyst who subsequently executes the generated .sh file unmodified would run the injected commands with their own privileges, potentially exposing fireSIGHT Manager credentials, modifying ACL rules, or compromising the analyst workstation. Additionally, the module contained a secondary defect where the variable 'config' was only assigned inside a conditional block but referenced unconditionally afterward, causing a NameError (denial of service) when the request payload lacked a 'config' key. The vulnerability requires the attacker to have the ability to submit MISP events or attributes containing a single-quote character and the victim to execute the exported script. No authentication bypass is required beyond standard MISP event-submission privileges. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conntrack: use get_unaligned_be32() in tcp_sack()
The timestamp-only fast path dereferences the option stream as
*(__be32 *)ptr, which assumes 4-byte alignment that the TCP option
stream does not guarantee. Use get_unaligned_be32() instead, which
reads the value safely and already returns host byte order, so the
htonl() on the comparison constant can be dropped.
This matches the existing get_unaligned_be32() use later in the same
function. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: validate index entry key bounds
[BUG]
A malformed NTFS directory index entry can advertise a key_size larger
than the bytes actually present in its NTFS_DE payload. Directory lookup
then passes that malformed key to cmp_fnames(), which can read past the
end of the kmalloc'ed index buffer.

[CAUSE]
The index-header validators only validated INDEX_HDR-level geometry.
They did not walk each NTFS_DE to verify entry alignment, subnode
layout, or that key_size fit inside the entry payload. They also
allowed a last sentinel entry to carry a non-zero key_size.
[FIX]
Walk every NTFS_DE in ntfs3's index-header validators and reject
entries with invalid layout, mismatched subnode state, oversized
key_size, or non-zero sentinel keys before lookup or log replay can
consume them. |

| The Gutenverse – WordPress Blocks, Page Builder & Site Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Post Comment Block 'suffixMain' Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. WordPress core wp_kses_post sanitization does not mitigate this vulnerability because the payload is stored inside a Gutenberg block delimiter comment rather than as a raw HTML tag, and is only rendered as exploitable HTML at the PHP render stage. |
