| CVE-2017-15954 | 2 Bchunk Project, Debian | 2 Bchunk, Debian Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| bchunk (related to BinChunker) 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow (with a resultant invalid free) and crash when processing a malformed CUE (.cue) file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-16227 | 2 Debian, Quagga | 2 Debian Linux, Quagga | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The aspath_put function in bgpd/bgp_aspath.c in Quagga before 1.2.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (session drop) via BGP UPDATE messages, because AS_PATH size calculation for long paths counts certain bytes twice and consequently constructs an invalid message. | ||||
| CVE-2017-16352 | 2 Debian, Graphicsmagick | 2 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| GraphicsMagick 1.3.26 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability found in the "Display visual image directory" feature of the DescribeImage() function of the magick/describe.c file. One possible way to trigger the vulnerability is to run the identify command on a specially crafted MIFF format file with the verbose flag. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7943 | 2 Debian, Imagemagick | 2 Debian Linux, Imagemagick | 2025-04-20 | N/A |

| CVE-2017-7980 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Qemu and 1 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Qemu and 9 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Cirrus CLGD 54xx VGA Emulator in Quick Emulator (Qemu) 2.8 and earlier allows local guest OS users to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (crash) via vectors related to a VNC client updating its display after a VGA operation. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8028 | 3 Debian, Pivotal Software, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Spring-ldap, Jboss Amq and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Pivotal Spring-LDAP versions 1.3.0 - 2.3.1, when connected to some LDAP servers, when no additional attributes are bound, and when using LDAP BindAuthenticator with org.springframework.ldap.core.support.DefaultTlsDirContextAuthenticationStrategy as the authentication strategy, and setting userSearch, authentication is allowed with an arbitrary password when the username is correct. This occurs because some LDAP vendors require an explicit operation for the LDAP bind to take effect. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8064 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| drivers/media/usb/dvb-usb-v2/dvb_usb_core.c in the Linux kernel 4.9.x and 4.10.x before 4.10.12 interacts incorrectly with the CONFIG_VMAP_STACK option, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (system crash or memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact by leveraging use of more than one virtual page for a DMA scatterlist. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8073 | 2 Debian, Weechat | 2 Debian Linux, Weechat | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| WeeChat before 1.7.1 allows a remote crash by sending a filename via DCC to the IRC plugin. This occurs in the irc_ctcp_dcc_filename_without_quotes function during quote removal, with a buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2017-8086 | 2 Debian, Qemu | 2 Debian Linux, Qemu | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| Memory leak in the v9fs_list_xattr function in hw/9pfs/9p-xattr.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via vectors involving the orig_value variable. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||
| CVE-2017-8309 | 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Qemu, Openstack | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| Memory leak in the audio/audio.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by repeatedly starting and stopping audio capture. | ||||
