CVSS v3.1 |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before 6.4.0, if an attacker can control
parameters of __portable_aligned_alloc() could cause an integer
wrap-around and an allocation smaller than expected. This could cause
subsequent heap buffer overflows. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX before version 6.4.0, the _Mtxinit() function in the
Xtensa port was missing an array size check causing a memory overwrite.
The affected file was ports/xtensa/xcc/src/tx_clib_lock.c |
| In Eclipse ThreadX before 6.4.0, xQueueCreate() and xQueueCreateSet()
functions from the FreeRTOS compatibility API
(utility/rtos_compatibility_layers/FreeRTOS/tx_freertos.c) were missing
parameter checks. This could lead to integer wraparound,
under-allocations and heap buffer overflows. |
| Versions of the package onnx before and including 1.15.0 are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read as the ONNX_ASSERT and ONNX_ASSERTM functions have an off by one string copy. |
| An integer overflow in dav1d AV1 decoder that can occur when decoding videos with large frame size. This can lead to memory corruption within the AV1 decoder. We recommend upgrading past version 1.4.0 of dav1d. |
| Increasing the resolution of video frames, while performing a multi-threaded encode, can result in a heap overflow in av1_loop_restoration_dealloc(). |
| Potential buffer overflows in the Bluetooth subsystem due to asserts being disabled in /subsys/bluetooth/host/hci_core.c |
| In pf packet processing with a 'scrub fragment reassemble' rule, a packet containing multiple IPv6 fragment headers would be reassembled, and then immediately processed. That is, a packet with multiple fragment extension headers would not be recognized as the correct ultimate payload. Instead a packet with multiple IPv6 fragment headers would unexpectedly be interpreted as a fragmented packet, rather than as whatever the real payload is.
As a result, IPv6 fragments may bypass pf firewall rules written on the assumption all fragments have been reassembled and, as a result, be forwarded or processed by the host. |
| Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Due to an Improper Validation of Specified Index bug, Squid versions 3.3.0.1 through 5.9 and 6.0 prior to 6.4 compiled using `--with-openssl` are vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against SSL Certificate validation. This problem allows a remote server to perform Denial of Service against Squid Proxy by initiating a TLS Handshake with a specially crafted SSL Certificate in a server certificate chain. This attack is limited to HTTPS and SSL-Bump. This bug is fixed in Squid version 6.4. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. Those who you use a prepackaged version of Squid should refer to the package vendor for availability information on updated packages. |
| Vim is an improved version of the good old UNIX editor Vi. Heap-use-after-free in memory allocated in the function `ga_grow_inner` in in the file `src/alloc.c` at line 748, which is freed in the file `src/ex_docmd.c` in the function `do_cmdline` at line 1010 and then used again in `src/cmdhist.c` at line 759. When using the `:history` command, it's possible that the provided argument overflows the accepted value. Causing an Integer Overflow and potentially later an use-after-free. This vulnerability has been patched in version 9.0.2068. |
| libcurl's URL API function
[curl_url_get()](https://curl.se/libcurl/c/curl_url_get.html) offers punycode
conversions, to and from IDN. Asking to convert a name that is exactly 256
bytes, libcurl ends up reading outside of a stack based buffer when built to
use the *macidn* IDN backend. The conversion function then fills up the
provided buffer exactly - but does not null terminate the string.
This flaw can lead to stack contents accidently getting returned as part of
the converted string. |
| Out of bounds memory access in Dawn in Google Chrome prior to 126.0.6478.114 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Heap buffer overflow in Tab Groups in Google Chrome prior to 126.0.6478.54 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| An out-of-bounds read in the 'bson' module of PyMongo 4.6.2 or earlier allows deserialization of malformed BSON provided by a Server to raise an exception which may contain arbitrary application memory. |
| In PHP versions 8.1.* before 8.1.29, 8.2.* before 8.2.20, 8.3.* before 8.3.8, the fix for CVE-2024-1874 does not work if the command name includes trailing spaces. Original issue: when using proc_open() command with array syntax, due to insufficient escaping, if the arguments of the executed command are controlled by a malicious user, the user can supply arguments that would execute arbitrary commands in Windows shell. |
| Out of bounds memory access in Browser UI in Google Chrome prior to 125.0.6422.141 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Heap buffer overflow in WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 125.0.6422.141 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Integer overflow in libaom internal function img_alloc_helper can lead to heap buffer overflow. This function can be reached via 3 callers:
* Calling aom_img_alloc() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned aom_image_t struct may be invalid.
* Calling aom_img_wrap() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, or align parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned aom_image_t struct may be invalid.
* Calling aom_img_alloc_with_border() with a large value of the d_w, d_h, align, size_align, or border parameter may result in integer overflows in the calculations of buffer sizes and offsets and some fields of the returned aom_image_t struct may be invalid. |
| Heap buffer overflow in Dawn in Google Chrome prior to 125.0.6422.76 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Heap buffer overflow in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 125.0.6422.76 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
