CVSS v3.1 |
| Vulnerability of uncontrolled system resource applications in the setting module
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Insecure Default Initialization of Resource vulnerability in Apache Solr.
New ConfigSets that are created via a Restore command, which copy a configSet from the backup and give it a new name, are created without setting the "trusted" metadata.
ConfigSets that do not contain the flag are trusted implicitly if the metadata is missing, therefore this leads to "trusted" ConfigSets that may not have been created with an Authenticated request.
"trusted" ConfigSets are able to load custom code into classloaders, therefore the flag is supposed to only be set when the request that uploads the ConfigSet is Authenticated & Authorized.
This issue affects Apache Solr: from 6.6.0 before 8.11.4, from 9.0.0 before 9.7.0. This issue does not affect Solr instances that are secured via Authentication/Authorization.
Users are primarily recommended to use Authentication and Authorization when running Solr. However, upgrading to version 9.7.0, or 8.11.4 will mitigate this issue otherwise. |
| fastify-swagger-ui is a Fastify plugin for serving Swagger UI. Prior to 2.1.0, the default configuration of `@fastify/swagger-ui` without `baseDir` set will lead to all files in the module's directory being exposed via http routes served by the module. The vulnerability is fixed in v2.1.0. Setting the `baseDir` option can also work around this vulnerability. |
| Donetick an open-source app for managing tasks and chores. Prior to version 0.1.44, the application uses JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for authentication, but the signing secret has a weak default value. While the responsibility is left to the system administrator to change it, this approach is inadequate. The vulnerability is proven by existence of the issue in the live version as well. This issue can result in full account takeover of any user. Version 0.1.44 contains a patch. |
| Certain configuration available in the communication channel for encoders could expose sensitive data when reader configuration cards are programmed. This data could include credential and device administration keys. |
| Insecure default variable initialization of Intel(R) RealSense(TM) ID Solution F450 before version 2.6.0.74 may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via physical access. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rtw88: sdio: Honor the host max_req_size in the RX path
Lukas reports skb_over_panic errors on his Banana Pi BPI-CM4 which comes
with an Amlogic A311D (G12B) SoC and a RTL8822CS SDIO wifi/Bluetooth
combo card. The error he observed is identical to what has been fixed
in commit e967229ead0e ("wifi: rtw88: sdio: Check the HISR RX_REQUEST
bit in rtw_sdio_rx_isr()") but that commit didn't fix Lukas' problem.
Lukas found that disabling or limiting RX aggregation works around the
problem for some time (but does not fully fix it). In the following
discussion a few key topics have been discussed which have an impact on
this problem:
- The Amlogic A311D (G12B) SoC has a hardware bug in the SDIO controller
which prevents DMA transfers. Instead all transfers need to go through
the controller SRAM which limits transfers to 1536 bytes
- rtw88 chips don't split incoming (RX) packets, so if a big packet is
received this is forwarded to the host in it's original form
- rtw88 chips can do RX aggregation, meaning more multiple incoming
packets can be pulled by the host from the card with one MMC/SDIO
transfer. This Depends on settings in the REG_RXDMA_AGG_PG_TH
register (BIT_RXDMA_AGG_PG_TH limits the number of packets that will
be aggregated, BIT_DMA_AGG_TO_V1 configures a timeout for aggregation
and BIT_EN_PRE_CALC makes the chip honor the limits more effectively)
Use multiple consecutive reads in rtw_sdio_read_port() and limit the
number of bytes which are copied by the host from the card in one
MMC/SDIO transfer. This allows receiving a buffer that's larger than
the hosts max_req_size (number of bytes which can be transferred in
one MMC/SDIO transfer). As a result of this the skb_over_panic error
is gone as the rtw88 driver is now able to receive more than 1536 bytes
from the card (either because the incoming packet is larger than that
or because multiple packets have been aggregated).
In case of an receive errors (-EILSEQ has been observed by Lukas) we
need to drain the remaining data from the card's buffer, otherwise the
card will return corrupt data for the next rtw_sdio_read_port() call. |
| In JetBrains RubyMine before 2025.1 remote Interpreter overwrote ports to listen on all interfaces |
| A flaw was found in Openshift. A pod with a DNSPolicy of "ClusterFirst" may incorrectly resolve the hostname based on a service provided. This flaw allows an attacker to supply an incorrect name with the DNS search policy, affecting confidentiality and availability. |
| In JetBrains TeamCity between 2022.10 and 2022.10.1 connecting to AWS using the "Default Credential Provider Chain" allowed TeamCity project administrators to access AWS resources normally limited to TeamCity system administrators. |
| In applyKeyguardFlags of NotificationShadeWindowControllerImpl.java, there is a possible way to observe the user's password on a secondary display due to an insecure default value. This could lead to local information disclosure with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-10 Android-11 Android-12 Android-12L Android-13Android ID: A-179725730 |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS 7 V8.2 (All versions), SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.0 (All versions < V9.0 SP3 UC06), SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.1 (All versions < V9.1 SP1 UC01), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V16 and earlier (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V17 (All versions < V17 Upd4), SIMATIC WinCC V7.3 (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC V7.4 (All versions < V7.4 SP1 Update 21), SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions < V7.5 SP2 Update 8). A missing printer configuration on the host could allow an authenticated attacker to escape the WinCC Kiosk Mode. |
| An issue was discovered in Pivotal Spring Web Flow through 2.4.5. Applications that do not change the value of the MvcViewFactoryCreator useSpringBinding property which is disabled by default (i.e., set to 'false') can be vulnerable to malicious EL expressions in view states that process form submissions but do not have a sub-element to declare explicit data binding property mappings. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2017-4971. |
| H2O version 2.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service in the server via unspecified vectors. |
| Ceragon FibeAir IP-10 wireless radios through 7.2.0 have a default password of mateidu for the mateidu account (a hidden user account established by the vendor). This account can be accessed via both the web interface and SSH. In the web interface, this simply grants an attacker read-only access to the device's settings. However, when using SSH, this gives an attacker access to a Linux shell. NOTE: the vendor has commented "The mateidu user is a known user, which is mentioned in the FibeAir IP-10 User Guide. Customers are instructed to change the mateidu user password. Changing the user password fully solves the vulnerability." |
| An issue was discovered in Schneider Electric Tableau Server/Desktop Versions 7.0 to 10.1.3 in Wonderware Intelligence Versions 2014R3 and prior. These versions contain a system account that is installed by default. The default system account is difficult to configure with non-default credentials after installation, and changing the default credentials in the embedded Tableau Server is not documented. If Tableau Server is used with Windows integrated security (Active Directory), the software is not vulnerable. However, when Tableau Server is used with local authentication mode, the software is vulnerable. The default system account could be used to gain unauthorized access. |
| Zyxel WRE6505 devices have a default TELNET password of 1234 for the root and admin accounts, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct DNS hijacking attacks by reconfiguring the built-in dnshijacker process. |
| In F5 BIG-IP APM 12.0.0 through 12.1.2 and 13.0.0, an authenticated user with an established access session to the BIG-IP APM system may be able to cause a traffic disruption if the length of the requested URL is less than 16 characters. |
| An issue was discovered in Pivotal Spring Web Flow through 2.4.4. Applications that do not change the value of the MvcViewFactoryCreator useSpringBinding property which is disabled by default (i.e., set to 'false') can be vulnerable to malicious EL expressions in view states that process form submissions but do not have a sub-element to declare explicit data binding property mappings. |
| gtk-vnc before 0.7.0 does not properly check boundaries of subrectangle-containing tiles, which allows remote servers to execute arbitrary code via the src x, y coordinates in a crafted (1) rre, (2) hextile, or (3) copyrect tile. |
