CVE-2026-47362 2026-08-07 4.6 Medium
The Datadog Android application stores operationally sensitive content in plaintext SQLite databases via Room. Two databases were reviewed: LocalNotificationDatabase (table local_notifications, columns including title, message, recipient, service, tags, and on-call/incident deeplinks) and SearchRecentDatabase (table search_recents, storing every in-app search query the user typed). A repository-wide search for SQLCipher, SupportFactory, openHelperFactory, or any Room encryption configuration returns no matches. Databases are stored as cleartext SQLite files in /data/data/com.datadog.app/databases/. At-rest protection therefore depends solely on the Android application sandbox — the standard Android baseline, adequate for many applications but flagged here as a hardening recommendation because the stored content is operationally sensitive (customer infrastructure monitoring metadata, incident notification recipients, and free-text search queries that may reveal service names, dashboards, and queries of interest). Exploitation paths include rooted or jailbroken devices, adb backup if android:allowBackup is misconfigured for any build flavor, physical-device handover scenarios, and forensic acquisition.
CVE-2026-47361 2026-08-07 6.4 Medium
BubbleChatActivity in the Datadog Android application is declared android:exported="true" with no permission guard and accepts a SEND intent with mimeType text/plain. The activity reads a conversation_id from Intent extras and, on onDestroy, calls BubbleChatNotification.dismiss whenever no active in-process session matches the caller-supplied conversation_id. BubbleChatNotification.dismiss unconditionally cancels notification ID 9201 — the hard-coded Bits AI chat notification — using NotificationManager.cancel, with no validation of the caller's identity or ownership of the supplied conversation_id. A zero-permission co-installed application can therefore launch BubbleChatActivity with any random conversation_id; when the activity is finished, the Bits AI chat notification is cancelled on the victim device. No data exposure: chat content is server-authentication gated and is never returned to the caller. Shortcut removal is scoped to the attacker-supplied conversation ID, which is a random string and is not reachable without prior knowledge. Impact is confined to denial of the Bits AI chat notification (a nuisance and a potential aid to phishing of in-app workflows).
CVE-2026-44965 2026-08-07 N/A
Six Android App Widget configuration activities in the Datadog Android application are declared android:exported="true" with no permission guard: IncidentWidgetActivity, MonitorSavedViewWidgetActivity, OnCallShiftsWidgetActivity, OnCallPagesWidgetActivity, SloWidgetActivity, and DashboardWidgetActivity. All six extend a shared base WidgetActivity that reads AppWidgetManager.EXTRA_APPWIDGET_ID from Intent extras and, when no resolved deep-link destination is supplied, uses that caller-controlled widget ID to look up the stored widget definition, fetch the associated user session, and perform an automatic login with source UserSessionSourceLogin.Automatic. Android App Widget IDs are small sequential integers assigned by AppWidgetManager. A zero-permission co-installed application can brute-force them by launching any of the six configuration activities with EXTRA_APPWIDGET_ID set to 1..N until one matches a configured widget on the victim device. When a match occurs, the activity foregrounds with the victim's session already loaded and renders the widget configuration UI, which is backed by live data pickers (SLOs, dashboards, incident severities and types, on-call pages and shifts) fetched through the victim's authenticated HTTP client. Exfiltration is screen-visible only — programmatic return of data to the caller is not possible from these activities. Disclosure is therefore a visual side-channel: accessibility services, screen recording, or screenshot capture. Preconditions: a malicious co-installed application, at least one of the six widgets configured on the victim's home screen, and an active Datadog session cached locally.
CVE-2026-47363 2026-08-07 6.3 Medium
The launcher activity AppActivity in the Datadog Android application is declared android:exported="true" with launchMode="singleTask" and no permission guard. On every onCreate and onNewIntent, it invokes Intent.getUserSession(), an extension that deserializes a full UserSession — user identity, OAuth access and refresh tokens, host, organization, datacenter, and permissions — from Bundle extras keyed under the com.datadog.app.* namespace. This extension lives in the main sourceset, not a test-only sourceset, despite a misleading comment referencing internal test fixtures. Any application installed on the device can invoke the launcher with arbitrary session extras. The startup pipeline accepts the injected session, persists it to user storage, optionally rotates persisted token storage when an OAUTH_OVERRIDE_TOKEN extra is set, and performs an automatic login under the attacker-chosen identity. The session preparer returns Ready without contacting the backend whenever the injected access token is not flagged as expired-or-expiring-soon, so no server-side token introspection takes place before auto-login. Preconditions: the Datadog application installed on the victim device, and a zero-permission co-installed malicious application. The attacker must possess any OAuth access token they are willing to have the victim use, including the attacker's own Datadog tokens.

CVE-2026-18655 1 Aws 1 Amazon-mq-mcp-server 2026-08-03 6.5 Medium
Improper restriction of intended endpoints in the RabbitMQ broker connection tools of the Amazon MQ MCP Server (awslabs.amazon-mq-mcp-server) before 2.0.24 may allow a remote unauthenticated actor (via prompt injection) to obtain Amazon MQ for RabbitMQ broker credentials or OAuth access tokens sent to a crafted endpoint controlled through a broker hostname introduced in the MCP client context. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.0.24.
CVE-2026-54891 1 Erlang 3 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Otp 2026-08-03 3.7 Low
Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel vulnerability in Erlang/OTP ssl (tls_gen_connection module) allows a network-positioned attacker to inject unauthenticated plaintext that the TLS client application later treats as authenticated server data. The function tls_gen_connection:handle_protocol_record/3 rejects APPLICATION_DATA records that arrive in pre-handshake states when the TLS endpoint acts as a server, but does not apply the same check when the endpoint acts as a client. A network-positioned attacker can send plaintext APPLICATION_DATA records to the client during the handshake. The records are buffered and, once the handshake completes successfully, delivered to the application as if they were authenticated post-handshake data. The attacker cannot observe the client's response or steer the connection, so the impact is limited to blind injection of unauthenticated bytes. The injection window is wider for TLS versions prior to TLS 1.3 than for TLS 1.3. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/ssl/src/tls_gen_connection.erl. TLS 1.3 is affected starting with OTP 22.0, when TLS 1.3 support was added. This issue affects OTP from OTP R13B03 before OTP 27.3.4.14, from OTP 28.0 before OTP 28.5.0.3, and from OTP 29.0 before OTP 29.0.3, corresponding to ssl from 3.10.7 before 11.2.12.10, from 11.3 before 11.6.0.3, and from 11.7 before 11.7.3. Whether OTP before OTP R13B03, corresponding to ssl before 3.10.7, is affected is unknown.

Refer to the ' Security Update for Aura Wallpaper Service ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.
CVE-2026-55655 2 Openssh, Redhat 6 Openssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more 2026-07-30 5 Medium
A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session.
CVE-2026-23904 1 Apache 1 Kyuubi 2026-07-29 7.3 High
Kyuubi Engine UI proxy accepts a host and port from the request path and proxies HTTP requests to that destination. A remote requester with network access to the proxy can cause the Kyuubi server to send HTTP requests to arbitrary reachable hosts, resulting in SSRF or open-proxy behavior. This issue affects Apache Kyuubi: from 1.8.0 before 1.12.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.12.0, which disables the proxy by default. To restore proxied Engine UI, set kyuubi.frontend.rest.engine.ui.proxy.enabled=true and configure allowed target hosts with kyuubi.frontend.rest.engine.ui.proxy.hosts.
CVE-2026-57848 1 Stoatchat 1 Stoat For Android 2026-07-23 5.5 Medium
Stoat for Android exports the chat.stoat.activities.ShareTargetActivity component (reachable to any process on the device via the android.intent.action.SEND intent) and accepts the file to share as a URI supplied through the android.intent.extra.STREAM extra. The activity does not validate or filter the incoming URI before using it as the outgoing attachment, so a caller can pass a file:// URI pointing at the application's own internal storage (for example /data/data/chat.revolt/databases/revolt.db, cached authentication token files, or preferences) and have the app treat that internal file as a user-selected attachment. An attacker who can invoke intents on the victim's device (via ADB access, a co-installed malicious application, or any other route that reaches Android's intent dispatch) can launch ShareTargetActivity with such a URI and cause the victim, on a single channel-selection interaction, to send the internal file to any Stoat channel or user of the attacker's choosing. The composer displays the attachment as \"attachment\" with no filename indication, so the victim has no visible signal that the file being sent is their own internal application data. Consequences include disclosure of the local Stoat database (message history, contact list, cached content), disclosure of authentication tokens permitting full account takeover, and disclosure of any other file readable by the app process.
