| The webbrowser.open() API would accept leading dashes in the URL which
could be handled as command line options for certain web browsers. New
behavior rejects leading dashes. Users are recommended to sanitize URLs
prior to passing to webbrowser.open(). |

| Locutus brings stdlibs of other programming languages to JavaScript for educational purposes. Prior to 3.0.14, the create_function(args, code) function passes both parameters directly to the Function constructor without any sanitization, allowing arbitrary code execution. This is distinct from CVE-2026-29091 which was call_user_func_array using eval() in v2.x. This finding affects create_function using new Function() in v3.x. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.14. |
| All versions of the package ggit are vulnerable to Arbitrary Argument Injection via the clone() API, which allows specifying the remote URL to clone and the file on disk to clone to. The library does not sanitize for user input or validate a given URL scheme, nor does it properly pass command-line flags to the git binary using the double-dash POSIX characters (--) to communicate the end of options. |
