CVSS v3.1 |
Tautulli is a Python based monitoring and tracking tool for Plex Media Server. Prior to 2.17.2, the unauthenticated /auth/redirect endpoint in plexpy/webauth.py removes forward slashes from the user-controlled redirect_uri parameter but leaves tab, line-feed, and carriage-return characters intact. With the default root HTTP_ROOT configuration, CherryPy HTTPRedirect passes the resulting value to urllib.parse.urljoin, which can resolve the whitespace-bearing path to an attacker-controlled external origin. A user who follows a crafted link can therefore be redirected outside Tautulli for phishing or post-login redirect-flow abuse, while custom non-root HTTP_ROOT configurations are not affected by this bypass. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.2.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Field Service product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Field Service. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Field Service, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Field Service accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Field Service accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).
A vulnerability was determined in ST Engineering iDirect Evolution and Velocity WebServer Evolution up to 20260717. This vulnerability affects the function authorize of the file /usr/sbin/webserver of the component HTTP Header Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument Success can lead to open redirect. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was found in ST Engineering iDirect Evolution and Velocity WebServer Evolution up to 20260717. This affects an unknown part of the file /login.html of the component Management Service. Performing a manipulation of the argument Host results in open redirect. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A remote attacker who controls a container registry may be able to direct a client's token request to a host of the attacker's choice, and disclose the victim's registry credentials to that host. This vulnerability is addressed in containerization version 0.41.0.
Jenkins Keycloak Authentication Plugin 2.4.1 and earlier does not restrict the redirect URL after login, allowing attackers to perform phishing attacks.
Obsidian Web MCP is a secure remote MCP server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 0.2.0, /oauth/authorize issues an authorization code without a login, consent, or session check, and /oauth/token can exchange that code for the static VAULT_MCP_TOKEN without authenticating a client. An unauthenticated remote caller who can reach the intended tunnel deployment can therefore call /mcp and use vault_read, vault_write, vault_search, vault_list, vault_move, and vault_delete against the entire vault. Optional PKCE does not prevent an attacker-initiated flow, and unauthenticated /oauth/register also exposes a client_credentials path by returning the configured VAULT_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.0.
Spoofing issue in the DOM: Navigation component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
The Newsletter WordPress plugin before 9.3.7 does not validate the destination of the redirect performed after a public subscription action, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external sites and to disclose a subscriber token that grants access to that subscriber record's front-end actions.
A vulnerability was found in a2ui-project a2ui up to 0.10.7. Affected by this issue is the function openUrl of the file renderers/web_core/src/v0_9/rendering/generic-binder.ts of the component Binder. The manipulation results in open redirect. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
Halo through 2.26.1 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the anonymous thumbnail endpoint that fails to validate the uri query parameter. Attackers can craft malicious links on the trusted Halo domain that redirect visitors to arbitrary external sites, enabling phishing attacks and abuse of redirect-based trust relationships.
A file-upload handler redirects the authenticated client's browser to a URL taken directly from that same request's Referer header, without validating it against the application's own origin. This allows an authenticated attacker to craft a request that causes another user's browser to be redirected to an arbitrary external destination after completing an upload.
The "Firma Circolare" feature in the "Design Scuole Italia" WordPress theme allows an authenticated attacker to inject arbitrary HTML via the sign parameter, enabling forced redirection of visiting users to an attacker-controlled URL (Stored HTML Injection / Open Redirect).
IBM WebSphere Application Server 9.0, and 8.5 and IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially crafted Web site, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to spoof the URL displayed to redirect a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim.
IBM Verify Identity Access could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, using an open redirect attack.
Kiwi TCMS is an open source test management system. Prior to 16.1, the account confirmation endpoint accepted an unvalidated next parameter, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to create a URL on a trusted Kiwi TCMS hostname that redirects a victim to an arbitrary external domain. The trusted origin can support credential-harvesting pages, bypass email security filters and link-reputation checks that allowlist the organization's domain, or deliver malware through a convincing account-confirmation lure. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.
Authorizer is an open-source, self-hostable authentication and authorization server. Prior to version 2.2.1, the `/authorize` endpoint accepts any `redirect_uri` without validating it against `AllowedOrigins`. When `response_type=token` or `response_type=id_token`, the server appends `access_token`, `id_token`, and `refresh_token` as query parameters and issues a 302 redirect to the attacker-supplied URL. An unauthenticated attacker can obtain the required `client_id` from the public `/graphql?query={meta{client_id}}` endpoint. A partial fix was applied in v2.0.1 to other handlers (`oauth_login`, `verify_email`, `magic_link_login`, `forgot_password`, `invite_members`, `oauth_callback`) but `/authorize` was not included. Version 2.2.1 contains a more complete fix.
An issue was discovered in twilio_ajax_handler.php in Nagios XI before 5.9.3. An attacker can force a user to visit a malicious site by using a open redirect vulnerability.
Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. There is no workaround; the pre-existing RENOVATE_X_REBASE_PAGINATION_LINKS option disables the new host check and should only be used with servers that intentionally use different pagination hosts.
In onCreate of InstallLaunch.kt, there is a possible misleading UI due to a tapjacking/overlay attack. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
